Done the job & easy to install

Bought two of these in an attempt to stop the smell from the main sewer wafting through the house from time to time from the kitchen and downstairs bathroom outlets. They were easy to fit and I checked the water was flowing before refitting the drain cover. The doors automatically open when the water pressure builds up behind them. It’s been a few days now and I can honestly say there have been no odours whatsoever. Wish I’d bought some of these ages ago.

Placed this inside the 4" wasted gully pipe which took the waste water from the kitchen sink, washing machine,& dishwasher. it put a stop to the smells that kept coming out of that drain! Was easy to fit & a lot cheaper than digging up the drive to replace the gully. Use silcone grease inserting valve easier, i also smeared silicone grease around the metal string & hinge to keep it operating smoothly.

No longer living with broken pipe due to rat bites!

Simple and easy to fit in the soil pipe just by replacing the existing rubber seal with this item. Can be used vertically or horizontally, no tools needed.

seemed to fit ok but then we discovered that it either sticks shut or sticks open because the hinge moulding is slightly proud of a 110mm pipe fitting. Had to grind the edges from the moulding to make it fit

J’ai utilisé ce clapet pour éviter des mauvaises odeurs dans la douche. Résultat concluant. Seul bémol, les dimensions du clapet ne correspondent pas aux dimensions sur le site. 110 mm au lieu de 120 mm. Donc il a fallu que je bricole une bague.

J'ai une évacuation dans le sol et un wc avec sortie horizontale avec un flexible les reliant de +- 10 cm de diamètre. Le clapet rentre dans du 11 cm de diamètre et a besoin d'une longueur certaine de tuyau à l'arrière pour s'ouvrir et se fermer correctement du fait de la "porte" qui doit s'ouvrir. Pour que ce soit possible il m'a fallu un coude 90° en diamètre 11 mais mon vc est de ce fait avancé de +- 25 cm dans la pièce et est donc à cette distance du mur arrière. En discutant avec mon voisin dont c'est le métier de raccorder les maisons au réseau d'égouttage il m'a affirmé que ces clapets ne sont prévus QUE POUR UTILISATION DANS UNE CHAMBRE DE VISITE et non derriàre un WC comme sur les dessins. Maintenant je vais devoir l'installer dans la chambre de visite !
