Control Heartburn & Indigestion Tablets for Acid Reflux Relief, Gastro-Resistant Esomeprazole Tablets, 20mg, 14 Count

I suffer from bad acid reflux and I have a hiatus hernia which causes gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD). This is especially an issue at night time because the acid can creep it's way up and burn a large ulcer into the back of my throat. Sometimes, that can be excruciating and take a week or so to sort itself out. Anyhow, I've had all the cameras down the throat and the docs said it's not worth an operation so I've been on Lasoprozole for over 20 years to treat it. The Lasoprozole works ok but it can cause lots of bloating in the stomach and gas, making me feel uncomfortable. It also doesn't agree with alcohol. (Yes, I know I shouldn't drink on those but sometimes the situation arises and I need to let my hair down) I do like coffee and spicy foods (my vices) but I general lead a pretty healthy life with a decent diet and exercise 4 times per week. I also drink 1.5 litres of water per day. Sometimes the Lasoprozole isn't enough and I get the acid reflux still. -- WORKS WONDERS. BETTER THAN LANSOPROZOLE -- I've tried Zantac and it doesn't seem to work that well. Tums and Rennie I eat like sweets. They work fine until you need a drink of water and then they stop working. Nexium Control tablets (made by Pfizer - sorry about the Viagra calim) are by far the best - they just work. I take one in with food and they seem to stop everything for at least a couple of days. I get no burping, bloating or food repeating on my. I feel great and have decided to subscribe to a monthly delivery via Amazon. Summary: - Works on my bad acid reflux (GERD) - Needs one tablet take away heartburn - No gas or bloating - Easy to swallow - 14 tablets should easily last a month Recommended. Get some. A ++++++++

I regularly suffer from heartburn and the Nexium Control really help. I previously used another well-known product, but I find that the Nexium is much better in preventing the symptoms over a longer period. The main reason for writing this review is because I have been receiving quite a lot of boxed items from Amazon which have been damaged, the most recent being yesterday. The reason for the damage is because they place these items in an A3 envelope-style packaging which offers no protection if heavier items are placed on top during transit. I have contacted Amazon several times concerning this issue, but the items still arrive damaged because of this packaging. On the packaging it says: This mailer fits your order better than a box and uses less paper to do it. I am all for using less packaging but if items are continually arriving damaged, then it is not fit for purpose. The envelope-style packaging is great for CDs and Blu-rays for example, but not for items which are thicker and more delicate. Given the cost of some of these items, I expect them to arrive in good condition. The use of the A3 packaging on boxed items such as the Nexium started a few months back and until this issue is resolved, I will now purchase these items elsewhere. If you receive any items in this condition, I suggest that you contact Amazon immediately. Although the product is good and highly recommended, I have only awarded three stars because of this ongoing issue. Update 3rd January 2022: With it being almost five months since submitting this review, I did a test purchase of some boxed items and they arrived again in the A3 envelope-style packaging. Amazon are clearly not listening to customer feedback.
