Motorcycle M8 Bolt Handlebar Clamp Mounting 2.5 cm Ball

Really good quality and I use every time I ride my bike for my satnav.

If space is a bit tight on your handlebars this is just the job, it’s easy to match up with the other RAM mount components, which are all well engineered and have a ‘heavy duty’ feel. It comes with three bolts of different lengths, which should get the job done. I had to buy a 75mm one because I have risers on my Triumph Sprint clip on style bars, otherwise it was an easy fit.

Its a simple product, but does it's work wonderfully, one of the screws fitted in my FZ6 S2 2008 and I was able to fit my Zumo Garmin GPS in it. The GPS now is more centered in the handlebar and even removing the GPS RAM it looks tidy. Great product, it came as well packaged.

Used in lieu of a handlebar clamp bolt on a Tiger Sport to mount a SavNav. Minutes to fit, neat, good quality, positions the SatNav in easy view just below the clocks - recommended

Three screw sizes supplied. Used with my r1200gs with ease. 1 minute fit. Can't see that rust will ever be a problem. Only thing to be aware of is that they are hex and not Torx heads..... So keep an Allen key in your tools on the bike!

Always handy to have a RAM mount on a bike. This is to mount my iPhone case and does the job perfectly

For a company with the reputation of Ram I was surprised that the quality of this product was not that high. The allen screws supplied were poorly coated and this tended to make the threads tight. In addition the screw I needed to use was slightly bent or the head was off-centre. I ended up substituting a better quality screw of my own. I was also surprised that the collar which the ball is mounted on was light alloy and not particularly strong. In view of the fact that it fastens the safety critical handlebar clamp I am not convinced that it will withstand the compression load at the required torque without slackening. Because its smaller diameter is limited in order to drop into the clamp recess it should be steel not aluminium. In my case the bars are held by a one piece clamp with four screws but I would have been unhappy to use it on the more common two screw clamp.

Bought to enable a phone holder to be added to my Triumph Sprint 1050 ST. Simple to fit and perfect for the job.

The ball mount base was perfect for letting me mount a GoPro to the back fender of my Honda Rebel 500. There are already two M8 threads in the fender that I was able to choose from, once I removed the rear seat. It worked out perfectly.
