Saxton SH13CS01 13 Blades Case Set Compatible with Fein Multimaster Multi Talent Einhell Milwaukee Bosch Multitool

First off if you are looking for this kind of product you have probably seen the simply sureal prices the local DIY store charge for what is in effect a simple blade. Now, I've been renovating houses for the last 25 years and have used - and broken - just about every bit of gear you will come across. On top of that I'm a Chief Engineer offshore and use tools all day long. I know nonsense when I see it and the prices for these disposable blades borders on usary. So, I've used blades from on line retailers such as Shark Blades - very good - and now Saxton via Amazon. What I can say is that I don't notice any difference in quality between any of them to any amount that makes a difference. The enclosed Bosch blades on my old multi-tool lasted no longer than the Shark Blades at less than 25% of the price. This time I bought a Makita unit and at the same time this set of blades. They come in a decent storage box which you will be able to refill with pretty much any other makers units, the cost of the entire set is less than two blades from my local B&Q and they are top quality. I've been using the grit blade used for tiles to cut slots in walls where I don't want to make too much mess. Okay, not as quick as a disc grinder or dedicated wall channeling unit, but not as messy either. So far it has shown no wear. Same for the wood cutting bits. On a par with brand names. Simply put I would not waste my money on store bought items when these are a fraction of the cost.

Bought these to go with my Bosch multitool, the standard Bosch bits are very expensive so I thought I would give these a go. Have to say I am impressed, while they may not be as good quality as OEM parts I have yet to find a reason, I only really use them for DIY but I probably do more DIY than most, I even used this to help me lay a large deck last year, the previous base was warped and needed re-leveling and this really helped with cutting through rusted and partially hidden screws and nails or cutting notches out of wood in-place. Maybe a more professional user would get through the bits faster but for my use they are perfect and would certainly buy again if and when they do start to break. The box they are supplied in is very sturdy and the cut outs mean you can store them safely and select the one you want with ease. ================================================================== I like to try and review all of the products I buy on Amazon in order to help other people out. I chose this set of tools (from Amazon) for an Einhell multi tool (blue range), because they were way less expensive than buying individual tools and it was worth the financial risk. The aluminium case was a bonus to my view, the blades more important. On close inspection, I thought one of the blades might be suspect, because a part of a single tooth was missing, odd. It was the small wood plunge tool. So I decided to use it on some substantial scrap as a test. It was fine! Better than the Einhell original. Next, I tried the triangular rasp, which is gold coloured in the picture, to rough sand some really rough surface wood on a substantial pallet. It was excellent and had the wood ready for some P80 sanding in no time. It'll save me on lots of P80 actually I could have gone straight to P120 or finer grade. P80 wears away much quicker than the triangular rasp, which as yet shows no wear and tear. Not 5 stars, because of the single odd tooth, maybe I'm being too picky.

As far as I can tell so far these blades are absolutely the same quality as the the over priced "Bosch" blades I've been buying over the last two years, I have found a multitude of tasks for my "Bosch" multitool and get through plenty of blades, as an electrician I find that this tool makes easy work of awkward jobs, the Saxton blades fit perfectly on my Bosch GOP250CE 250W Multi-Cutter and my old Bosch 190E Multi-Cutter, fantastic value, even comes in a good quality aluminum box, which incidentally I was was going to simply throw away when the blades arrived, however decided to keep as it is actually a sturdy box, I must also add That this kit was delivered just two days after clicking the buy button, free delivery and was very well packaged, I will now be placing another order for the Saxton wood blades 35mm 10 pack, 10/10 for quality and 10/10 for service...Thank you Steve M..

I can only give this set 3 stars so far, as I have not had the chance to use all the blades. The ones I have used so far have not been what I expected, but then it could be because it is the first time I have used this type of tool. Using the wood cutting blades was very slow and produced a lot of smoke, so I reverted to my back cut saws which I found quicker and more accurate. I shall post some more comments later, after I've had a bit more experience with them. I have a shower room to de-grout in the next few months.

Some blades wear out quickly but overall very useful.

Bonjour Excellent choix de lames achetées pour compléter le lot du multimaster FEIN. Les différentes possibilités qu'offre le multimaster impose d'avoir des lames de qualités et pour le coup cela tombe très bien. Le lot est varié et adapté a tous les types de travaux que l'on peut entreprendre. Les métaux utilisés sont robustes et suffisamment résistant. Le travail rendu est très propre. La boite de rangement est chouette bien que pas très utiles, car les lames sont très dures à retirer et se retrouvent très vite dans les compartiments de la mallette Fein. En conclusion: la marque SAXTON propose un excellent ensemble de lame dédié de très bonne qualité à un prix vraiment correct ...que demander de plus ? En espérant que ce commentaire soit utile dans votre choix. Bonne journée

L’ho acquistato per un prodotto Bosch che avevo , e che non riuscivo più a trovare i ricambi di consumo . Questi sono adatti al mio Bosch. In quanto alla durata non lo so in quanto ancora non li ho usati .
