He is nine years old, and managed totally unaided (but then he does know a lot about dragons!!). I now find the dragons every where.... they live in my Christmas wreath ("the perfect nest for dragons), are perched on top of wardrobes, and have even been found in the fridge. This is a lovely quality book and well worth getting for a young dragon enthusiast. Review: Make your own flying dragons - Bought twice as little son destroyed a good few of the previous lot and upset big sisses! Great quality, glossy pages, easy to assemble by my 8 year old and they actually fly really well. The book draws on the popular dragon series, How to Train your Dragon, giving some background to each dragon featured in this book, although these are completely different dragons.

Make your own flying dragons
Bought twice as little son destroyed a good few of the previous lot and upset big sisses! Great quality, glossy pages, easy to assemble by my 8 year old and they actually fly really well. Really good fun - I was a bit envious of my niece after I gave it to her - she loved it. Varying difficulties and designs which is great. and perfect instructions

Given as present so not sure how the models will go together but lovely looking book if good quality.

Love it
Got this for my daughter (9) who loves making things and loves dragons. Some people have said the card is too think and it needs taping together but this just end up with a stronger dragon better for flying and taking flying into things without breaking. She made some of these herself and I helped on a few but very well received and the information on the dragons was well illustrated and informative even for a reluctant 9 year old reader. Very highly recommended.

Nice but....
Lovely book...Well thought our dragon/planes....but ...Only held 8 year olds interest long enough to make two. Collecting dust on a shelf now.

Granddaughter (9) loved these and they kept us busy all day. Now just waiting for a dry day to try them outdoors (not much room in the house) because they crash into the walls etc

This was a gift for 7 year old boy that loves dinosaurs. His eyes lighted up when he got it. However he did need some adult help to do his first flying dragon and is looking forward to creating more. He thougth the story part was "GREAT". His friends also like the dragons and they wanted to help since they had never seen these before.

It was a Birthday gift for my son. He liked it so much. It has good quality material and understandable instructions :-)

Great product! High-quality paper and instructions are easy enough for my 9 year old to follow. Great activity for a tech-free afternoon. We built them and then had competitions on which one could fly the furthest. Fun!
