Feels well made and works as it should. Allowed for 4k input on my slightly older monitors. Would recommend

Great fit for extending the lifetime of an older monitor.
I had a new docking station that supported 2 Display Ports and 1 HDMI. I only had 2 HDMI monitors to hookup to it. I used one of these adapters to convert the monitor to DisplayPort and it has worked flawlessly. These adapters saved me the cost of buying a new monitor.

Great value
Works great as intended. No performance issue and was able to display 4k 60 Hz refresh rate which is the max performance for my PC.

I needed a USB to HDMI adapter, and this is the best one for the money ease to install and works great

DP to HDMI Adapter Works Well
Works as described. Bought to adapt an older Optiplex machine from display port to HDMI, and it even carries sound. All in one solution for me. I didn't know if it would carry sound seeing as DP doesn't do sound itself, but the adapter does indeed play sound through my TV. Seems like a durable adapter, although I wouldn't rip it out by kicking it of course... Small and could even slip into a pocket if need be.

DP Source to HDMI Monitor works great!
I wish they were a little smaller, but they work well for my purposes.

Run way too hot!
These nearly caught fire. No kidding, I was using them to feed monitors from a lighting console that only has display port 1080p60 out. HDMI cables have been used in other setups and work fine The monitors shut off and when reaching for them I burned my hand on the adapter housing. They got so hot one of them melted the plastic of its case. You can see if on the left one. I replaced these adapters with some mono price displayport to HDMI cables and everything works fine, not hot at all.
