Great for bikers.
Superb for use on my motorcycle. Road and wind noise is cut to almost nothing, meaning I can enjoy my music and protect my hearing at the same time.

THE KEY IS IN THE SEAL! Have patience...
Background: I work in a fairly loud manufacturing environment that makes sheet steel products with presses, lasers and turrets. I bought these earplugs as I wanted to listen to music but my radio over-ear headphones were far too hot and uncomfortable for me as a glasses wearer.Let me just start off by saying that these earphones are not the easiest to get along with straight out of the box.It took me a good half hour of playing with the foam earbuds before I finally tried the rubber earbuds (which come in the box). They are so much easier to fit in the ear than their foam counterparts and isolate the sound much better. The main thing to note with the Plugfones is that they require a good seal, something which a lot of people don't realise. If the earplugs are sat even slightly out of the ear, they will block out very little sound and you will hear very little music. THE KEY IS IN THE SEAL!In terms of build quality they are very well made and the rubber control buttons are great for music control (haven't tried the phone call control yet). They're very easy to use and the plus, minus and multifunction buttons are easily distinguishable by feel. I wouldn't expect these earplugs to withstand extremely harsh environments and lots of punishment, however if you look after them and keep them in the plastic container like me, I expect them to last me for quite some time.The sound quality itself is extremely good and very bassy at high volumes. At low volumes the music is still very clear but allows background noise in, which is perfect if you're holding a conversation. The sound quality is very comparable to the standard Samsung earphones but with added bass. As I said earlier though, without the right seal, you will struggle to get any decent sound quality out of these headphones.All in all I'd give these earphones a 9/10. Have patience with them and you will have a great experience!

The key really is in the seal, like the other guy said.First day, didn;t seal right, thought the headphones were crap.Second day, Ah ha!, proper seal! Sound fantastic!Brilliant on the motorbike, very shallow fit, so helmet doesn't touch them.

Faulty. No resolution.
My wife bought them for me as a gift. Ooened it last week, looked nice and solid. But unfortunately, left side doesn't work at all. Right is not too loud either :/. Emailed seller about this fact and in reply they said I didn't bought them directly from them and Amazon is my party to rectify the issue. Because plugs were in my wifes drwawer for weeks we only found out about fault last week. Too late for Amazon return policy. Wife had to buy another gift for me and we are short of £30.

Good earplugs and earphones but didnt work
Great headphonesNot the loudest (but hey they're to PROTECT your ears)Good sound qualityPretty good at reducing ambient noise such as machinery, tools or other noises.Doesnt kill ALL noise which is important.Comes with handy carry case + both kinds of inserts -Foam and silicone plugs-Marked as 1 star because the "Guardian" version that I paid extra for, the controls dont work.No microphone, no volume adjustment and no pause/play.Took them apart to find wires broken away from board inside control boxResoldered and fixed but shouldnt have to do this.

This is great !Can listen to music at work without anyone notices it. Plus reduves the enviroment noise very well.

Great while they last... They just don't.
They're just cheaply made. After only a week of use the left ear is cutting out, loose wire already. Concept is great. I'd pay a lot more for some better made ones. I'd even buy these again if they lasted 6 months, but a week? Pass.

look just like ear plugs and so far so good nobody has asked about them. There is 1 lone working job where I work and its out of the way earplugs are required for noise levels, it can get a bit boring these definitely make the day go quicker with a bit of music or an audio book. Sound quality is better than I expected.
