Retro Synth
The Kork minikorg is one of the best mini syths every made. A very versatile synth with a built in vocoder. It still sounds great I love it.

Korg Synthesizer / Vocoder
Excellent and very flexible instrument, sounds retro or modern and the vocoder function gives you an instant Electric Light Orchestra sound! Only slight drawback is the small keys on the keyboard but this can be midi'ed into a full size one easily. Great fun this instrument is.

Plug adaptor didn't work.
This is a little beastie of a synth. Very useable, can connect to a full size keyboard via midi out. It was delivered in only a couple of days from Germany however, I'm only giving 3 stars as the British plug adaptor didn't work so I'm using it on batteries. It's not a huge deal, just a bit annoying. Can't be bothered to send it back as synth works just as well with it's batteries.

Great synth but w/o vocoder mic it's kinda meh
I am so far loving playing with this synth and will certainly be adding it to my repertoire but I've had to shell out a whole extra bit of money to get a microphone for the vocoder. Learn from me and make sure it's included if you ever buy one (which I would recommend, this thing is crazy fun).

this is an excellent beginners synth
Don't be put off by the small size, this is an excellent beginners synth. It is a little restricted with what you can do, but an excellent starting point.

I love this Keyboard
I love this Keyboard. I am just a learner but can still make it perform ok. The range of sounds from it are only limited by your imagination. Good fun.

This little thing bring us back. It is among top ten must have and its stunds on its own. You can basically create your own sounds and it's great for creating from ambient and maybe you are in a rock band. I am so happy. To tell the truth I have always been a little bit sceptical about this thing, but after that I've been working on the project a friend suggested that I should use the microkorg and I did it and its so much more to explore on Microkorg. Thanks! I did get the package on time..even earlier then expected;)

I've been wanting to get this thing for awhile now, and now that I have it, and as an aspiring electronic musician it's one of the best purchases I've ever made. This is my first hardware synth, I've had it for a couple days now and I can't stop playing with it. Although I do plan on making songs with it as the lead once I get an audio interface, just tweaking the sounds and making beats is a blast. I found it extremely easy to use and figure out, since I've had experience with software synths and I've watched a lot of videos on the microKORG. So if you have some basic synthesizer/sound design knowledge you should have no trouble figuring this thing out just by playing around with it. The only thing I've had to refer to the manual for so far is how to turn off the write protection so I could save my own sounds, which was no trouble at all. The microKORG has 128 preset sounds (including vocoder), all of which can be tweaked in just about any way you can think of. They range from standard trance/techno sounds to huge bass sounds to ambient and experimental stuff, pretty much anything a (starting) electronic producer might want. With 128 presets and tons of settings to tweak, there's always new stuff to come up with. Before when I only used software synths I usually ran out of ideas for songs and beats, but I can mess around on this thing for a couple minutes and ideas just pop into my head. As for the hardware itself, the microKORG is built very nicely, it doesn't feel at all cheap. The microphone for the vocoder is alright, although it can be a bit wobbly and it will give feedback if you have it too loud. So if you plan on really using the vocoder a lot (I don't), you might wanna consider a better microphone. Overall, this is probably the best entry-level synthesizer out there, for every reason. Although I absolutely recommend it, I recommend it for people who have basic knowledge of synthesizers. If you have no idea how a synthesizer works and you never used a software synth, I would recommend learning about synthesizers and how they work before buying a hardware synth. Even $400 is a big investment. So I definitely recommend this, as long as you're confident that it's going to do what you think it's going to do. As long as you know what you're getting into, this is a great purchase.

The Microkorg lives up to its legacy, 22 years after its first release, this thing is a wonder and a bang for your buck. Sounds fantastic right out of the box, having some legendary presets that you might recognize in many popular songs. The build quality is great and it seems reliable for hard work, the knobs, buttons, and keys, are sensitive and yet sturdy, the portability is fantastic. The software and the matrix might present a challenge for some, but it only makes you go deep into honing your sound design fundamentals. I have yet to check software compatibility and importing presets on it, as it has only MIDI inputs, this might be challenging, but nothing feels better than taming a piece of gear like this. I'm very happy with this purchase, and hope to make the most out of it, I can't recommend it enough.

Un bel plasticone con zero pesatura della tastiera ma essendo un sinth ci sta, il pezzo forte sono i suoni e le valvole: in complesso un gran bel giocattolino veramente divertente
