Originally order the Cherry/active for my hubby for his gout in big Toe! Then read the reviews from other customers saying that it also has helped them with, Athritise, which we both suffer from in the Knuckles in both hand! So we both thought it was worth I try, as at night my thumbs and pinky finger would wake me up with pain juring the night! Well after I would say into two week off having two a day! Can truly say we both have no pain whatsoever, and have more range off movement in fingers, try and make sure you have a extra supply as we have ran out and within two days off not taking them back with the same old pains definitely would recommend the seller and product,

Hi i tried this product because i started developing symptons of gout. my left toe and left ankle started hurting. after a short while my right toe too. i read the reviews and gave this product a go. The soreness and pain completely dissapeared. the only time i feel pain now is when i run out (as i have now). i do recommend you at least try it. its not cheap but i would say it is well worth it. i take two at night or sometimes three if i have excessed on alcohol and rich food. Unsure as yet as to the benefits. Looking at the info published there is plenty of pseudo scientific reporting as to the statistical benefits, but fail to point out dose required to achieve the desired impact. Have had a flair up whilst taking these, but have been taking 1 tab a day, rather than 2 . No clear evidence on the bottle as to dose that may be required for anti- inflammatory benefits. should I have been taking 2 tabs, would I have had a flair up? Biggest draw back is the size and taste of the tablets. Horsepills! Taste like mouldy cardboard too. Make sure you have a cool cup of tea to swallow them with, you need a big gulp to get them down. Tried adding powder to cherry juice drink, but does not dissolve, just makes a lumpiness in bottom of glass. Are there any side effects? Interractions with other meds? Not stated on info on web. An important ommission. If you are going to put out biochemical supportive info that puports to have benefits, then this may also have other drug interraction. COX-1 and COX -2 inhibition is not without impact. Needs to be added to info.

My son typically has very bad Aspergers related insomnia which has resulted in very poor School/College attendance with a threat of permanent dismissal hanging over his head. Trying to solve this problem has been a terrible uphill struggle. Eventually he was prescribed 2 Melatonin at night but as he grew his dosage needs grew from 2 capsules to 4 a night. I was told that the maximum he could eventually take was 5 - THAT IS until I asked for Lactose Free because of my sons worsening asthma. The Doc went all strange on me for treading on the Hospitals financial toes and decided to go backwards to the dose which didn't work, so in my panic I Googled MELATONIN RICH FOOD and found that Cherries are high on the list - the skins to be precise. I went to well known Holland & Barratt, bought the juice AND the capsules and decided to substitute some of the pharmaceutical Melatonin with the Cherry Active Capsules. Not only is my son getting less lactose, some much needed vitamins and anti-oxidants but he himself stated how PEACEFULLY he sleeps with the Cherry Active Capsules. It's a fantastic result. The only downside is that I now seem to be obsessed with 'all-things-cherry.' Up to now I have found the capsules to be more effective than the juice but only because I haven't found the right dose yet. I have conversed with the Cherry Active Company about this product ~ so any queries they are there to help. Really hope this helps !

I didn't believe the hype, but these things really work! Had been troubled with regular bouts of gout - normally around the toes which left me unable to walk for several days at a time. Had been on long-term Allopurinol, but still had to frequently resort to the crutches the NHS gave me so I could remain mobile during instances of gout. Was recommended this by a friend, but didn't really bother taking the bottle he gave me, until one day, I felt like I'd stubbed my toe whilst walking, and within 2 hours I'd gone from a sore toe to being unable to walk on the foot and in extreme pain. The wife had to drive to pick me up with my crutches. I thought "what the hell", took one CherryActive straight away, took another at bed time, and another when I woke up (with the pain being virtually gone - an order of magnitude faster than the normally prescribed Colchicine medicine takes to effect things). At lunch time that day I did a 3 mile walk with no pain at all. That was August 2013, and taking one of these a day, I've not had a case of gout since - whereas I could have expected a severe episode at least once a month on the Allopurinol treatment. If you suffer from gout, you owe it to yourself to atleast try these and see if they work for you.

I love these Cherry Active capsules. They are great anti-inflammatories and easy to take. I also have the Montmorency cherry juice.

These pills spelled the end of my gout attacks for life! Cant recommend it highly enough. A life changing product !

I bought these for my wife who has an auto immune disease. She wasn’t happy with the flavor and only used one. A little pricey for the cost vs use.

Considering these capsules come from the UK, they arrived quickly and were packaged well. Ordered these after researching supplements and foods to counteract the effects of radiation and prevent cancer recurrence. Cherries have a short season so this supplement is a way to include cherries in the diet when cherries are not readily available.
