Protein Works - Whey Protein 80 (Concentrate), Low Calorie Protein Shake, Whey Protein Shake, 66 Shakes, Unflavoured, 2kg

It’s a fairly acquired taste, unflavoured whey, but if you make it right it’s actually quite nice, without the horrible fake sickly taste you get with some whey drinks. I make it with skimmed milk and a bit of water, oat milk is also okay. I add ice and use a hand blender. The ice makes it like a cold milkshake. You can add a bit of fruit for some sweetness, just a few strawberries or blueberries is nice. Don’t load it with loads of sweet fruit otherwise you’ll be adding a lot of sugar.

I've been in fitness industry for over 15 years, tried all sorts of proteins.... this is the best I ever yet to come across, ordered unflavored and I add cocoa powder or decaff instant coffee... MAN WOW I'm stacking order a second one right now while still having one smoothness, thickness, solubility... couldn't get better than this. No awful taste like other ones, I just love this. Great Product. Really good value for money (it was just over £20 for the 2kg bag when I purchased it). I went for the unflavoured version because I can mix it in with my own fruit smoothies that I make for breakfast. The product disolves/mixes really well with the liquid unlike other whey proteins I have purchased that are an effort to mix. I really do recommend this protein shake and specifically the unflavoured version since the unflavoured version does not contain any unwanted ingredients and also tastes great just mixed with milk on its own. This Protein shake is great for people who are training/building muscle but also wanting to loose weight (fat) since it contains next to no fat or carbs, you are basically just getting the 20g of protein per serving and that's it.

Ever since I found this product, I've been buying it. Not only is it nicely priced, but, above all, it works. I've made and maintained some nice gains. Very easy to mix and consume. And always came with a shaker. I'll keep on purchasing as long as the price is as reasonable as it currently is. I’ve not said anything about taste as it’s unflavoured, but it’s not bad at all with nothing. However I make my own flavour by combining a table spoon of options white chocolate or Belgian chocolate or even slim fast if I want carbs and vitamins. Taste amazing with a beverage powder as it the protein shake makes it feel fuller and creamier.

This is really good protein powder, but when I went to reorder it, I couldn't believe how much it had gone up in price! I know it's 3yrs ago, but to go up from £28 to £48 is a bit extreme.

So, this has been my go-to shake for a year or so, mainly because it is one of the only shakes I can find with an unflavoured version, which doesn't contain any artificial sweeteners. It also tastes great if mixed with milk. However, I recently switched to "Organic EU Whey Protein Powder Concentrate 80" from realfoodsource.com, which is ever so slightly more expensive, but it's organic and contains only whey, absolutely nothing else. I wish more companies had unflavoured versions of their products!

I won't use any other protein or sports/training supplements than those available at The Protein Works! A reasonable price, they always have offers and endless flavour options - without all of the carbs, sugars and fats/sat. fats that so many have! Typically about 100Kcal per serving (sometimes a few more, or a few less, and when mixed with water) Shakes up and blends very well - leaves a smooth, lump free formula easily. comes in a resealable foil kind of package - for flexible storage, rather than tubs.....but these all come with their pro's and con's, which are to each persons likings I originally used to get unflavoured and blend with banana and almond milk - makes a tasty, thick shake!

More than happy with this, the protein tastes great especially with coconut milk (my preferred option), the shaker mixes everything up well no lumps or sticking to the bottom of the shaker. Delivery was fast! Securely packaged! Highly recomend this product to anyone who trains, high quality and reasonable prices!

Geschmacksneutral wie beschrieben, top Werte.

Auf der Suche nach einem günstigen Wheyprotein bin ich zufällig bei The Protein Works gelandet. Ich habe schon viele Wheys probiert, dieses hat ebenso gute Werte und ist günstig. Vergleichbar mit Myp* Bod24* oder BP* Bei Whey bevorzuge ich neutral / geschmacksneutral da ich mit Flavdrops oder Früchten immer meinen eigenen Geschmack kreieren kann, wie ich es gerade brauche. Das Whey löst sich sehr gut im Shaker mit Wasser und schmeckt neutral. Whey trinke ich um meine Makros zu bekommen, es ist ein Ergänzungsmittel und kein Nahrungsmittelersatz der flipig aussehen und in 100 verschiedenen Sorten Natürlichkeit vorgaukeln muss. 50g morgens, 50g nach dem Training und gut ist, 80g Eiweiß zugeführt. Wenn euch diese ehrliche Rezession gefallen hat, würde ich mich über ein + freuen. Stay hungry!

Versand lief reibungslos, das Proteinpulver habe ich zum Ausprobieren bestellt. Im Großen und Ganzen schmeckt das Pulver geschmacksneutral, allerdings fand ich den Geruch und Nachgeschmack etwas unangenehm. Dieses lässt sich allerdings leicht mit 1-2 TL Kakaopulver und 1 Banane (zusammengemixt) lösen. Da ich kein großer Fan von Süßstoffen und Aromen bin, werde ich zukünftig dieses Produkt auch weiterkaufen.

Der Geschmack ist in Ordnung. Das Proteinworks Whey 80 Protein aus Molkeneiweiß ist im Vergleich zum Mammut Formel 90 4 Komponenten-Eiweiß aus Soja-, Milch-, Molken- und Hühnereieiweißdeutlich teurer. Der Proteingehalt ist mit 71g/100g ok. Es ist für mein Empfinden etwas zu süß und klebrig. Im Vergleich zu Bulk Whey Protein ist es weniger klebrig, im Vergleich zu Prozis Whey Protein jedoch klebriger und unangenehmer im Geschmack. Ich bin gespannt wie es im Vergleich zum Proteinworks Vegan Protein abschneidet.
