Excellent binoculars
These were a gift which I bought with no knowledge of binoculars. All I knew was they had to be small and lightweight for easy of putting in a pocket. My partner is delighted and says they perfect for bird spotting in the park and he can even identify the aircraft logo as they take off from LHR. For the price I think they’re excellent value for money

Nikon quality optics in a small package !
This product deserves 5* but I have knocked off a star because the one I received appears to be used and also because it comes without a cap to protect the lens or I didn't receive one. Prior to this I tried a praktica 10x50 purchased for £40 and a cestron 15x70 at £67. I'm happy to report that the qaulity of the image on Nikon beats those two hands down which is surprising because the size of the lens is tiny compared to the other two . I have yet to try this on a clear night . I will update my review when I do. So the dial is precise and achieves a beautiful focus very quickly. The other two brands mentioned above did not focus as well in comparison to the Nikon. The size is amazing because it's the size of my palm so carrying it around everywhere you go is not an issue whatsoever. So 5* optics which is not surprising given it's Nikon. I should have known having owned a Nikon slr for years. You get a quality case to hold it in.

Clear image and easy focusing
Only just received these Nikon Aculon A30 10x25 binoculars along with the Olympus wp2 10x25 binoculars and straight away I've put them to the test to see which pair I preferred. Only took me half an hour to decide in the favour of the Nikon binoculars The Olympus were very clear but found them more difficult to focus compared to the Nikon, the Nikon was also more comfortable in my hands so straight away I decided to keep them , excellent product , very clear and easy to focus with a quality feel , excellent optics justike my Nikon Aculon 8x42 binoculars.

Superb binoculars. Best I've had
These binoculars are fabulous. I have some Olympus 8/40 which are very good can't fault them but wanted a smaller pair to keep with me. Read previous revues that compared the Nikon against the Olympus 10/25 wp . I bought both pairs to compare them ,both are very clear images and lovely to use but I found the focus wheel on the Olympus to be very sensitive .the Nikon focus was much easier to use very easy to adjust when moving from one object to another further out .I also found the Nikon was slightly larger and fitted my hands better than the Olympus. It was close but for me the Nikon looked nicer and was more comfortable to hold and use ,and £25 cheaper . A great little pair of binoculars and well worth buying . It's two years since I started using these and I'm still blown away as to how good they are. I've just bought another pair to leave in my car as I keep leaving them at home and wish I'd got them with me. Just spent a lovely two hours at South Sea watching all the ships and boats etc leaving and arriving at Portsmouth.

Vert good quality compact binoculars
These are excellent compact binoculars offering a very clear and bright image. Good non-slip rubber coating and very smooth focus. Whilst they are lightweigh at around 300 grams, they will not necessarily meet someone's requirements if they are looking for ultra lightweight bins (but that's the trade off for the 25mm objective lens and good quality manufacturing), hence my 4 stars for weight. They regularly drop in price to around £55 so keep an eye out for a good deal.

Superb binoculars
Even better than I expected. Very sharp, high magnification. Great outdoors, but I also used them once in the theatre. Best of all, they're so light you can put them on your belt and not notice them.

Great bins but spec wearers beware
These appear to be great binoculars from an optical and build point of view but I'm having to return them as even with folding down the rubber surround around the eyepieces I'm still quite a bit short of a complete field of view when wearing spectacles. Part of the reason for that is that even after folding the rubber surround down the rubber edges of the eyepieces are not flush with the actual eyepiece lens surface, or even close. Note that there are no 'twist away' surrounds on this model and the manual recommends folding down the rubber cups for spectacle wearers. It may work if your spectacle lenses are particularly close to your eyes but it doesn't work for me. Shame because they are impressive otherwise.
