I bought this strap is as my Makita blower was too heavy to carry over an extended period. In theory it works well. But in actual use, not so good. For one, the strap is too short even when fully extended. I’m only 5’8”(175cm) so if you’re taller, the distance from blower nossle to ground may be excessive which means less efficiency. I unhooked one end of the strap, putting both ends of the strap on to one anchor point to no avail. Made only a slight difference. Also the strap has no shoulder pad, so after a while the strap gorges your neck.

First, to dispel some misinformation, yes, this strap works fine on a XBU03. It's nice to get the support from this shoulder strap, instead of carrying the blower in my hands alone. The strap seems durable; I expect no problems there. Has a wide range of adjustability (in length), so should fit everybody.
