Science Made Easy, Ages 5-6 (Key Stage 1): Supports the National Curriculum, Science Exercise Book (Made Easy Workbooks)

We found this book to be great. I’ve purchased for my 4 year old, we home educate, and though I think some of the concepts don’t fully sink in given her age, I think it’s a great introduction to the subject. I honestly think I will do it all with her again when she’s a little older. I like the fact that each page has an activity you can easily do to reinforce what you’ve just learned. I think the pages are clear, concise and informative. Enjoying exploring the book together

Love her books very helpful. Easy to use.

Maybe my expectations were too high with this, but it is not what I thought it would be. Full of work sheets that need you to have prior knowledge or look up on the internet before making your own 'lesson' before asking your child to complete the sheet. Could be better with more information attached before asking you to answer questions. My 5yr old enjoyed doing the worksheets - for me it was quite time consuming putting a lesson together to fit with the sheet. Full of quickly digestible facts, but my daughter learns better with more of a 'story' around the subject - would be more of a revision tool after learning the contents I would say.
