Nothing like cast iron in combination with a kettle grill. This serve the purpose of protecting the lower portion of grill very well when using a charcoal basket. Hot and cool zone cooking without the fear of oil building up on the bottom of grill. Can also use for a hot plate searing or a quick out door smash burger.

I use my grill for meats most of the time. The drip pan and griddle fits the grill perfectly and catches the unwanted grease drips. The griddle seems to heat evenly and stays heated. The raised edges prevent spills and messes.

II used this for the first time yesterday, and I was hoping it worked as I expected it would.IT DID! This griddle pan exceeded my expectations. I used it yesterday to cook mushrooms and bell peppers on our pellet grill along side grilled chicken. I simply gave it a good coat of oil, placed the mushrooms and peppers on it, placed it on the back side of the grill and off it went. It took off frying and smoking the veggies like over our stove. The large handles make it super easy to grab it and then directly serve from. I love this griddle pan, it is top quality, performs terrific, is easy to use and super durable. I will get a lifetime of use out of it. it get and deserves 5 stars.

I wish I found this sooner, the grill is perfect on my weber grill, it gives me the option of the flat iron and I can also use the other half of the flame grill, leaving many cooking options

I ordered the SnS Grills Slow ‘N Sear Cast Iron Drip 'N Griddle Pan 22", 3-in-1 Versatile Grill Accessory. I'm not sure why these reviews can't be filtered to the product you think your reading a review for, but there are different griddle pans reviewed here so try to make sure your reading the reviews that are about the product your looking to buy. I had hoped to use it as a drip pan when indirect cooking pork butts and shoulders. It is advertised to among other things, sit on the fire grate in a 22" kettle grill. It won't because the handles are to wide. The griddle hangs precariously on them about 2 inches above the fire grate. Had they gone straight up from the griddle pan it would work, but they don't. If they weren't so beefy, like the handles on the sheet metal ones it would have worked. I like the beefy handles and would prefer they just make them go straight up. I guess it is what it is... Aside from the handles keeping it form being used as a drip pan, it looks like it will make for a nice griddle. It is thick and heavy, and it took it's first round of seasoning well today. It also retained heat for a good period of time due to the weight. They did not skimp on the iron. Why did give it 4 Stars? I had to take one off because the description led me to believe it would do something that it won't. Why didn't I take of more than one? I don't think a company like SnS was out to deceive anyone with this. More likely they didn't test fit this product on the fire grate of a 22" kettle grill. Or, it was known by someone a but the information didn't get to marketing, or whatever... It is still a nice product, and I like cast iron cookware so I'll likely figure out ways to use it. I did the review of this product as I did so anyone who reads it will have an accurate description of what they were purchasing. Maybe someone from SnS will see it and clarify the description. In summary; 1. Nice griddle for cooking on top grate of 22" grill. 2. It's not going to work for the main purpose it I bought it for, and it was advertised to do, drip pan on fire grate. 3. I feel like I paid a premium for the griddle as a duel purpose pan, but would have been very happy had it worked as advertised. 4. While I'll likely use it some for cooking on the top grate, I more bought it as a drip pan, as advertised. 5. I still need a drip pan more than I needed a griddle...

This thing is thick and solid, used it tonight after giving it a good seasoning, i did follow the instructions with a slight modification of washing with soap and water, oiling with vegetable oil then baking for 75 min at 350 degrees, then i put another coat of oil on it, I love how this kept drippings from my chicken wings to a minimum.

this fits my weber 22" kettle perfectly. I bought it to use as a drip pan and heat sink . have not cooked on the griddle but I would assume you could do so just fine. it fits perfectly next to the slow and sear and helps divert air into the coals and hold more heat in your indirect side.

This SnS Griddle/Drip Pan is a fine piece of cast iron that serves multi-purposes. I use it on my Weber Kettle. Season it as you would any piece of cast iron cookery. Certainly works great as a reusable and easy to clean drip pan under whatever you are cooking indirectly, but also works great as a directly heated griddle. Little bit trickier to use in that application since you have to pay attention the the charcoal temp. Great item that will last for ages.
