good little iron, i'm impressed
I was a little unsure about a travel iron due to the mixed reviews, i wanted it primarily for my sewing room but also for the occasional holiday, although who irons on holiday!!! It's a good size, comfortable and easy to use, ironed well, heated up quickly and was as hot as you'd expect, removed creases, it's a better design than it looks. It's a small iron so lightweight in that respect. If you over fill it, it does indeed leak but then so do all irons.

Small and handy
It's advertised as a travel iron but in a small home with limited storage space and only a few garment that need a 'proper iron', then this little iron fits the bill perfectly. Does all the things a big iron does, but with a smaller footprint. Nice weight to it, sturdy and the hand rests rather than a handle works really well. Feels very secure in your hand.

Perfect for sewing but difficult at top temperatures
Irons really well however at high temperature it is a burn risk as there's no handle that is away from the heated parts. It also leaks a little. Would recommend highly however use a heat protection glove for safety.

Bought from Gadgetize. Don't.
The iron itself is good. It was just the seller that I had problems with. This first one came with a torn cardboard cover for the soleplate, no instruction leaflet and a crack in the body just above the soleplate where it had landed after being dropped. So I put in a return request. After it was returned the company seemed slow in dealing with my replacement. At one point I had to ask them what the latest news was on my replacement. After an exchange of messages and 2 weeks had gone by I received my replacement which came in a weak, flimsy box with a large hole in it where, I assume, something heavy had landed on it. The object also made a hole in the side of the box that held the iron. Luckily there was no damage to the iron. I noticed some residue on the soleplate and had to clean it off. After it was clean I then noticed 2 very small dents in the soleplate and a slight crease in the soleplate near the tip of the iron. I got the impression that I had received someone else’s return. I tried the iron and it works okay. I have not actually ironed anything, I just filled it with water and switched it on. I have decided to keep it as it will still do the job and the blemishes I found are quite minimal. All in all I didn’t have a good experience with this purchase which is probably why I paid £11.51 for it.

A fabulous travel iron
Last minute purchase as our old iron was broken. Turned out to be a blessing. It's much better than the one we had. Cost twice as much but well worth it for the job it does. I think the steel soleplate makes all the difference. It irons denim perfectly - great steam function. Plus a steam shot for stubborn creases. The heat level is adjustable. It only weighs half a kilo - ideal for travel luggage. Its style takes a little getting used to, but you'll move past this as soon as you see how good it irons. It feels quite strong so hopefully lasts a long time. Plus you have the Swan 2 year guarantee.
