This is a brilliant all-in-one safety kit. I bought it to keep in my Vauxhall Corsa and it fits perfectly in the boot without taking up much space at all. The storage bag keeps everything tidy and easy to access, which is exactly what you want in an emergency. The contents are excellent for the size. You get the tyre inflator, warning triangle, tow rope, hi-vis vest, torch, glass hammer and booster cables - everything you’d realistically need for a roadside issue. It feels reassuring having all of that in one place rather than scattered around the car. Everything seems well made and practical, and it’s clearly designed with real-world breakdown situations in mind. For the price and the peace of mind it gives, I think it’s fantastic value. Would definitely recommend keeping one in the car.

I bought this AA Breakdown & Safety Kit Plus to keep in the boot of my car so that I’m better prepared in case of a breakdown or roadside emergency. The kit includes a really useful range of items such as jump leads, a warning triangle, hi-vis vest, tow rope, tyre inflator, torch and emergency hammer, all packed into a single carry bag. Having everything together in one place makes it easy to store in the car and reassuring to know it’s there if needed. The warning triangle and hi-vis vest are particularly useful if you ever have to stop at the side of the road, while the emergency hammer with seatbelt cutter is a thoughtful addition for safety. The tyre inflator and booster cables also make it possible to deal with some common issues without needing immediate roadside assistance. The carry bag keeps everything organised and fits neatly in the boot without taking up too much space. The only minor downside is that some of the individual components feel fairly basic, but for an all-in-one emergency kit the overall value is still very good.

Good selection of items - hope they are not needed. I wanted a general emergency kit for the car, after looking at a few there is no perfect kit out there that will suit all circumstances; they are either biased towards winter, very basic or expensive kits with superfluous items. A DIY kit is the alternative but individual items will be expensive; this kit makes a good starting kit at a reasonable price with space in the bag to add more specific items, such as travel first aid kit, small snow shovel for winter, space blanket etc. Pros: Good basic emergency kit recommended on its own or as a basis for adding more specific items. Negatives: (these are not really negative at this price point but more recommendations,however I assume it would put up the price): torch should be a wind up for emergencies so you're not reliant on batteries that may have leaked or drained out, foil space blanket for when you are stranded. The included tyre air compressor dial is not accurate but in an emergency it will pump tyre up to get you home. Note, I did look at the AA winter essentials emergeny kit, its a little cheaper but does not include a tow rope, triangle or compressor hence cheaper to buy this kit and add the other items if needed.
