This was bought to replace the original flush valve. Easy to fit and it works.

Bought as exact replacement for broken flush valve. Simple to fit; 1: remove old unit by pressing clips on each side near base. 2) adjust small flush capacity cup position to match the old unit. 3) Click the new unit into place. Turn water off/on before/after, or tie up fill valve float. Works perfectly

Great item, well made, managed to repair our loo without spending a fortune on a plumber. Very well made product which was quick and super easy to fit. Item included full instructions on how to install.

Really surprised to find this on Amazon as it is a direct, same manufacturer, replacement for the flush valve that has finally gone on our 20 year old Vernon Tutbury cistern. If you are happy with a bit of DIY it is really easy to do. You need no plumber and I didn't even bother to turn off the water though that is probably recommended for peace of mind. Mine came with no instructions but there are YouTube videos that show how to install it if you look.

Excellent product! Direct inlet valve replacement and perfect fit. Resolved the constant loss of water from the toilet cistern and constant dripping of water into the toilet bowl. Easy to fit with the two clips/lugs.

Fitted tall Galassia cistern no problem. Watched online videos from two plumbers who suggested there was no point attempting to repair a broken flush valve (it does seem to contain numerous fragile joints and moving parts) so this did the trick. NB - this is *just* the flush valve (including the critical lower seal) which will snap onto the bottom cistern fitting which typically will be sound and won't have broken. You will reuse your fill valve and overflow and avoid buying the whole £50 - £70 kit quoted me from two local plumbers' merchants. Space was very tight for the install and the old one was tricky to extract as the cistern was narrow. I managed it by rotating the old flush valve so that one of the two lower snap-on tab/grippers was in a clear space location in the cistern and then squeezed this whilst lifting and rotating the unit until the tab/grip from the other side comes round into the clear space for grabbing and squeezing. Hopefully you can then wiggle/extract, swap out and celebrate. The new unit simply clicks into place and voila, flushing toilet. A great joy to all the family.

Excellent product! This replacement fits exactly like the old one. The flush mechanism also works flawlessly. The only difference is that the green button is now blue.
