Fantastic
These are brilliant. Nice long and narrow cut length means that they are perfect for so many jobs, but most importantly for me, cutting courgettes off without getting your wrists shredded (a regular allotment occurance with my regular secateurs) and the great sturdy clip that holds them together is great. Easy to open and shut with the side of your other hand or on the leg, they are an excellent design. You can't pinch your hand in these and you can't go wrong with Japanese blades. Winner. Will buy these again if I am ever daft enough to lose these!

Great product - shame it arrived late
These Wilkinson Sword Straight Pruning Snips are a lovely tool. I wanted a sharp, accurate pruner that could trim out the dead-heads among the tight clusters of flowers and buds on a beautiful climbing rose. My normal secateurs were just too clumsy for the task. These are razor sharp, pointy and a joy to use. Unfortunately the promised delivery date was not met - I suspect this was down to Royal Mail rather than the supplier.

Good but...
My second pair, had my first pair going on hmmmm 6 years now still work perfect and still sharp although never washed and never sharpened! I will say that these dont seem quite as sharp and as you can see from my picture, some genius thought it would be cool to screw the snips to the packaging, making it just that bit awkward to unpack - find the garage keys...go to the door...oh where are the house keys?.. find house keys... Walk to garage...oh wrong keys... Go back, get the right keys... Enter garage.. get screwdriver.. back to the house.. oh wrong size... Back to garage.. back to house..undo screw.. back to garage..lock garage.. put keys back.. lock house and voilla, youre good to go! Cheers guys, for the additional and unnecessary time and effort needed. Luckily i have screwdrivers but many people actually dont. So if you dont have you will need to buy one with the item. What a brilliant, innovative idea...
