Love this TV
Love this Android/Google TV. Was super easy to set up and navigate.

Flawed Return Policy
We received this TV with a significant imperfection in the screen which wasn't caused by shipping. We tried to return it, but were told return shipping was at our cost. USPS said box was too big for them to ship. UPS wanted $322 to ship it. For a TV that cost us less than $600, that wasn't attractive. So we're stuck with a flawed TV with no repercussions. I'll shop elsewhere next time.

Philips is the WORST brand for TVs.
I’ve had two Roku tvs before this and had next to no issues with them. This Phillips tv has been terrible from the moment I got it. The sound cuts when there’s little dialogue in movies/shows, the tv will turn off randomly, it will say it can’t find my WiFi but have it listed as available to connect to, and lags a lot. Streaming can only be done with android phones, which is annoying as an iPhone user. This is the worst tv I have ever owned in my life and I will happily go back to Roku tvs because of it. Philips is the worst brand of tvs.

Just purchased and already have issues
Just bought this last night. (Not off amazon) picked it up and programed it to my Google account with little to no issues. Slow as I don't have internet yet (just moved) but can't complain about that. Step by step process made it easy and instructions were clear. Once set up I picked a movie and started it. Within 20 mins the screen went blank and the LED light at the bottom of the TV started flashing. Remote would not turn tv back on so tried the power button at the bottom of the TV to no avail. Unplugged the TV for 20sec and it started right up. Hoping it was just a spoof I restarted the show. It had no issues connecting to my Samsung phone. Movie started but with a few minutes the same happened. I unplugged it for 30 sec this time. Again it booted right up once I plugged it in, selected my movie and began to play it once more. After the third time I unplugged it and left it for a while. 2 hours later plugged it back in and it turned right on. This time I did have to reconnect to hot spot. Unfortunately it happened with 20 mins again. This time I googled the trouble shooting methods on YouTube as I had followed the owners manual instructions the first several times. Was instructed to unplug the TV for 30 sec and hold down the power button on bottom of the TV for the duration. Once plugged in it once again started up. But alas 20 mins later was doing the same. I purchased mine from Walmart with absolutely no damage to the box inside or out. Will be calling support to see my options but know I will probably be returning it. Hope this helps.

Android crap never works right, remote is worthless
The android function of this TV makes it miserable and almost intolerable to use. It takes forever to turn on and off, the wireless takes forever to connect and you have to try multiple times. You have to wade through tons of Google and Android bloatware to do anything, the menus are not user friendly and are way too complicated for even simple tasks. Apps like hulu or Netflix that work flawlessly on my RCA Roku TV are clunky, never work and require me to turn off and reset the TV on a regular basis. Worst TV I've ever owned. When I buy a different one I'm going to smash this one with a hammer just for the satisfaction of knowing nobody else will have to suffer through the garbage operation of this piece of crap

Underpowered & Ad filled
Starting ANY app is prefaced with a long commercial. No other Google TV that I have owned does that. The Google TV part is so underpowered that controlling the volume buttons causes the display to stutter. Watching any SD material (non-4K) produces this odd dotted shading that makes the entire image look unnatural in a way that I've never seen before. All the HDMI ports are angled 90 degrees from the flat back so if you mount it to a wall, you can't plug in an HDMI cable. Owned and used for about a year. This will be my last Philips purchase.
