I purchased two of these, one for dry dog food and one for bird seed. I was getting fed up of fiddling around with sacks of food, and the size of these boxes were the ideal size for me to stick one in the kitchen cupboard with all the other doggy bits and pieces. The scoop provided, which is nicely housed on the underside of the lid, is the right size for my dogs food portions. The lid seals nicely and the container is of a sturdy quality.The other box is by the back door for filling the bird feeders. I was fed up of trying to get my gardman seed dispensing tube stuck in seed bags and spilling seed before getting outside. This is wide enough for the job.My main concern was the lid seal looking quite fragile, but after using these for a few weeks, I have had no issues.If i were to get different wild bird seeds, I wouldn't hesitate buying more. They're strong, stack, and fit a range of uses.

This product says it's air tight which it is where the lid closes but it's not where it meets the bottom part which therefor makes it not air tight, came quickly, good size, holds plenty.

I bought this as we have an open bag of guinea pig food and after moving to a property with a garden, were worried about pests. The box is a lot smaller then I expected, I guess it didn't occur to me that 12.5kg of fish food is ALOT less then guinea pig food. However, it comes with a really handy scoop that fits into the lid and clicks shut. It's small enough to store away and feels good quality, although the grey plastic is very thin but with a sturdy lid it does it's job.

KOI CARP FISH FOOD CAT DOG.However, on the product which arrived it says it holds 8KG for dog food and 12.5kg of bird seeds. very misleading. to be fair in the full description this is stated but still a misleading headline. Our dog food comes in a 10kg package so this is useless.I also purchased the identical product for something else on amazon (fairly advertised as 8KG) in black and red for £5.25 ... so nearly £10 cheaper. I would strongly advise against this container. search for the other one, it is exactly the same (apart from the colour)

WHILST IT APPEARS TO BE A SEALED BOX TO STORE PET FOO IN IT ISN'T. THE OPENING LID HAS A SEAL ON IT, BUT THE WHOLE TOP SECTION WITH THE LID IN IT ALSO LIFTS OFF AND THIS DOES NO'T SEAL AT ALL. I PUT SOME BIRD SUET PELLETS IN ONE AND IT IT BECAME COVERED WITH MILDEW(???) OR SOMETHING. I'VE HAD TO BUY SOME LARGE POLYTHENE RE-SEALABLE BAGS TO PUT THE FOOD IN BEFORE PUTTING IT IN THESE CONTAINERS. BE AWARE

Fantastic Storage Box for All Manner of Products, I keep my Dog Food in it, and he is a Clever Chap ​and has been able to open other containers that I have had but he has not been able to open this one, so 10 out of 10 and he holds a very good quantity. I buy his Food in Large Sacks, so it is easier to fill the Box and then I can monitor how much he is having, and how long a Large Bag is Lasting. A strong and Sturdy Container, I am thinking of buying more to keep other Products in such as Meal Worms for my Birds, and other Bird Seed, we have a lovely garden and lots of Birds, hence the need for a Large Box, and I am sure they will stack on top of each other, I keep my Single One in the Conservatory so I can see a nice tidy stack of these Boxes in the Conservatory without them looking out of place. An excellent Box and Very Good Value for Money.

This tub is waterproof but if any water collects on top of the lid, once opened the water runs straight inside and therefore the pet food goes mouldy. It's also lighter than i had hoped as the plastic isn't very thick but if you remember about the water in lid issue it does the job intended.

These are great storage for dry foods.I bought quite a few, I have guinea pig food in one, wild bird seed in another, sawdust in another, kitty litter wood pellets in another & they can be stacked to save space.The handy scoop inside the lid is fab & makes life easier.All in all, I would recommend these to anyone who wants dry food storage solutions for a reasonable price.
