Works for 26" bike for pre-teen, first use of day a bit tight
I have a kid that's getting into Mountain Biking, and put it on a 26" XXS Specialized RockHopper.Installation went as well as could be expected. Two main issues: - On the XXS RockHopper, it has a front derailleur, so finding a good spot for the lever took a bit of trial - The seat hydraulics get stuck the first time of the day, so getting it to extend the first time took some trial. Basically, I put a skinny screwdriver through the lever so I could pull it with my right hand, held the shaft with left hand, and held the other end between my feet and tried pushing/pulling until it unlocked. The provided cable was plenty big enough (I cut off over a foot). The lever hardware seems pretty great, and I didn't feel like I was going to strip any screws or break anything. Adjusting the tightness of the cable went really well due to the two adjustment screws (plenty of tightening room). The kid isn't very strong in the thumbs yet, so the first ride of the day he has to use two hands to "unlock" the stuck piston. After that it is incredibly smooth going up and down, and his left thumb is able to push it in okay enough (it's still tough, but it'll get easier as muscles grow). Again, the seat post does seem to get 'stuck' after sitting there for a day, but then goes super smooth the rest of the day.I'm happy with the post and the installation. It seems like good quality for the price I paid. It definitely isn't as good as the one on my own bike (mine has no 'stuck' issue after prolonged periods of inactivity), but good enough for this starter bike or anyone on a budget that wants a post that will last. I'll update this if I ever hit issues.

Just what I needed
Perfect addition to Himmiway Cobro Pro. I was able to install the dropper without having to drop the motor as others have suggested (just follow the brake and shifter cables into the frame from behind the battery, then make a hook at the end of a clothes hanger or other stiff wire to grab the cable when it passes by the hole at the bottom of the seat post). I'd prefer a button that goes up and down as opposed to front to back, but there is just enough room to clear the clutter on the handlebars. I've only used it for a quick ride around the block but it feels well built, so I'm sure I'll continue to be happy with this purchase.
