Review: I really enjoyed to read this book content, very simple technical review but preety structured and well designed. Defenitely this is a high recommendable manual and handbook for students, experties of Suplly Chain Management Review: I have only read 6 chapters so far, so this is not my final review but I am so frustrated right now that I couldn't wait to review this book. Let me first explain my needs: I bought this book because I am preparing the Apics CSCP certification and it is part of the reference list. I am a Supply Chain professional with 4 years experience and a Master's degree in Supply Chain management, so my needs were to refresh my knowledge about key concepts in SCM. The main reason why I am not satisfied with this book is that I find it lacks clarity and conciseness: - You do not find the information you are looking for easily. For example, you are reading a sub-chapter called X, so you expect to know about X. But you find mainly information about Y and Z. It is like if the titles and the paragraphs were arranged randomly. - There are a lot of generalities and descriptions of macro-phenomenons and not enough practical information - There are many examples of real companies, but I found that they often do not relate directly to the subject they were supposed to illustrate I personally do not like this book and find it inadequate for my needs. But maybe it will be suited for another category of people. Though I do not recommend it to college students.
