Works Fine no problems, no surprises
I bought this kit for the twice annual JBF consignment sales. You have to carefully read the instructions to install the needle but once that's done it's ready to go and easy to use. The needle does leave a hole, but so will any needle or pin or other object going through fabric. Best to use it in a seam (my local sale recommends the armpit) or the clothing tags. The barbs that come with it are working fine but may be a little long for clothing tags and are definitely too long for basting a quilt. It seems like any gun is going to leave a hole which was my biggest concern, so once that issue is understood it's a fine product for a good value.

Perfect tagger for Consignment Sales!
I love this tagging gun! I used it for like 100 pieces of clothing and this worked great. The needle is sharp and small so it did not leave a large hole like some do. It has a little needle cover too. I've tried others and this works great. It arrived quickly and was priced well. I highly recommend it!!

Good deal
It is what it is. A good price for a perfectly useable low-end tagging gun. It works and you receive a lots of tags. I think it was a great deal and did what was needed.

Appears cheap but actually works great
It feels kind of chintzy but actually it works great. I use it to label t-shirts through the neck tag and it is simple and easy. Great value for the money spent. I use occasionally to tag 25-30 items at one sitting. You do need gloves or thimbles or something to be sure you don't stick yourself, but I'm sure that's the same with every tagger probably. 4/25/2015 update - haven't been able to use it as a few months later it broke - husband keeps trying to fix it but won't work consistently but when it does, it is the only brand that truly has fine tagging. I bought a couple more and all broke after a few hundred uses - jammed - but with patience can get it to work again

Best Tagging Gun!
I love this tagging gun!! I have more than one and keep them supplied with regular tags, long and short as well two with fine fabric needles and short and long fasteners! It makes tagging items go smoothly and I know the tags are secure! Makes pricing a snap!

This Tagging Gun Is Strangely Made- Had To Return and Buy Another
I have used tagging gins before this purchase, but I needed a fine needle. Most tagging guns have needles that sit at the outside of the tagging gun, so you poke and tag. This one was different. The needle was on the inside of the gun and did not eject til you pulled the trigger which made it impossible to tag my merchandise - when needle is naturally on outside, you can push the tags onto the needle and then attach them with ease but not not with this one! Returned .

Works adequately = cheaply made
For the 'best in the industry' tagger, it is very flimsy in construction, hover it is comparable to the one it was replacing. I wonder why they can't make one of sturdier materials? Functionally, it works fine.

Just what I needed
Works great. I'm not a store or doing a garage sale. I've just had the instance enough times over the years where I took the tags off an item before I tried it on. My wife has as well. Only to find it didn't fit and the store has some "no returns if tags are off" policy. Well, I never wore the item and only tried it on for two seconds. My bad for taking the tags off in the excitement of trying on a new item. So I bought this tagging gun to solve that problem. Works great. Pretty intuitive. People complain about bad instructions, but it really only works one way. I purchased the "fine" needle which I highly recommend. I kind of wonder if I got "fine", as it still seems big. It definitely leaves a hole in the fabric so make sure you do it at a seam, on stitching or a label. I can't imagine how big a standard needle must be.
