melii Snack Container - Cat - 1 Pack New (PCTG Base)

Cute snack pot. I use for berries, cucumber, carrot and peppers etc and lid stays on perfectly. Easy to clean and is of good quality.

First thing: Push the lid down hard on a hard surface to secure the gasket. I find they stay on better that way. Especially the Lion, which appears looser than the others but really isn't if you push it down so the gasket seals. I was looking for a replacement to old Gladware that had a cute animal top to keep small 3 oz. cans of open cat food in. They don't make them anymore. I like differentiating the storage containers to find the kitties' food quickly in the morning. So bought the Lion and the Shark (very cute!). The 3 oz cans fit in them well. Note that the shape is a rounded triangle, so you have to line up the lid. I ended up getting two for myself for snacks and the Cat design for an extra can (cats on different diets). As far as for children, I wouldn't put anything liquidy in them and then into a bag or box with other stuff. The lids pop off a bit or if they get banged on the side or fall. I don't know how easy it would be for a young child to put the lid back on because of the odd shape, but it could also be a learning tool. The lids are easy to pull off, but for ease I particularly like the Shark with it's pointy "handles". The others I have to stick my nail under the lid. All in all very cute and well made; should last a long time.

Bought the dog version last yr for my granddaughters and they loved them so much I’ve bought the cats this time!

A lovely little container, my son loved it. Unfortunately the lid was popping up and couldn't close the container tidy

Been using this in my daughter’s lunch box for school for 3 weeks, and the lid has become loose and will no longer stay on. It’s only ever had crackers in it. And is now completely useless.
