Spry - Mints - Power Peppermints - 27g (Case of 6)

I don't have much luck in finding sugar-free or reduced calorie alternatives that actually taste nice. Usually I stop using a product because it tastes like battery acid from the onset or has an unpleasant bitter after-taste that lasts for hours. These Spry mints are rather nice though, and I don't experience a bitter taste that would usually prevent me recommending a product such as this. In case anyone is wondering, each mint is approx. 1cm in diameter and has a firm, shiny coating. Inside it has a slightly powdery texture but they do disolve quite nicely if you resist biting down on them. Since they come in the sort of containers more commonly used for vitamins they make a good mint for the car or your bag.

Not sure about any of the supposed health or dental benefits but I'm in the habit of always having mints and these are supposed to be better for teeth than life savers or any other candy. Taste pretty good as well.

love these and would buy because affordable but they suddenly shot up in price? like almost 5$ more? thats a big jump

My mouth gets dry because of medication I'm taking. Water helps, but if I'm at a store or something and can't carry water, these are good to get rid of the dryness and weird mouth taste. The only downside is they're small, like the size of an m&m and one only lasts about 5 minutes for me. I don't like to put more than one in my mouth because I won't be able to speak properly lol. I like minty flavors, and the first minute of popping the mint in doesn't really have much of a flavor because of the coating. But I know it helps stimulate saliva production. Hence the 4 stars. I just wished they lasted longer or were a little bigger I guess? Buy they're helpful for dry mouth, it's just kind of a holdover until I can get some water to drink! Not a super strong flavor either, kind of light but refreshing.

Updated Review: I was down to my last two tubes. I noticed at the very bottom the mints were broken down in tiny bits. That sure surprised me. Two of the tubes were like that. The outside wasn’t damaged or anything. Really wanted to suck on a mint last night but there wasn’t a whole piece but practically bits and powder. Hesitant to buy this again. The flavor of this mint doesn’t suit me. I prefer the cinnamon. It has an odd taste for being sugarless compared to other mints I’ve tried. It’s a matter of preference and trying to see if it’s for you. I like the containers these come in. Tubes are easy to open and tuck away.
