Used Hamerite a few times over the years by using a brush, the spray worked well and was easier for the recent job, great as long as long as it lasts as well.

I had steel cage panels that has been sitting outside for years, a little worse for wear.After building a large dog pen in the house I realised those panels would be ideal for a top on the pen, but they looked rough so I tried sanding off some rust and painting a panel by hand which was quite messy and the finish was quite poor.So, Decided to get some hammer rite spray paint and give it a bash and I have to say, other than wiping the panels down of dirt my prep was minimal yet the finish is actually quite exceptional you'd never know it wasn't just purchased from a shop.The spray was great. All spray paint has a little finesse to it but this was very easy to use, didn't take long to dry.my only niggle is for the money the tin didn't past very long, no tin of useful white hammerrite stored in my shed after this project that's for sure.

I was pleased with this product. I had a disability bathroom hand rail that had rusted around the bottom of the bar. The original paint had all flaked off and the rail was rusting with bits constantly falling over the bathroom floor. I decided to give thi spray a try, took the handrail outside and propped it up in a cardboard box. I did sand it very gently before spraying. I followed the instructions but probably should have waited a little longer between each layer of spray paint but I was keen to just get the job done! It took about 3 layers but it has done the job nicely and 8 months later it still hasn't rusted or flaked off. I'd say it's more durable than the original paint that was/is on the hand rail. Highly recommend this for small projects, not sure how far it would go for bigger projects but I've just bought the black spray to try and repair my rusting garden bench!

Great product used as our summer fan mesh had gone rusty.Have used on two fans and still loads left. No need to buy a new fan nowWould buy again.

Decent amount of coverage. Easy to apply. Good quality enamel style finish in white used for old metal which looked great once applied.
