Perfect for beginning readers
Love that my 5 year old can enjoy because it’s Dick and Jane level, very simple, one sentence per page text with fun story.

I don’t get it
Not sure I really understand this book or the positive ratings but the story seems to capture my 3 year olds attention for the few pages it has. I would definitely not purchase again.

Beginning readers love to read to Mimi
2 kindergarten grandchildren both love to read it to me instead of me reading to them. Cute simple story. With sight words.

Typically kids leveled chapter book. Not too hard and just the right amount of silly to keep him entertained.

A level one book that my beginning reader can actually read.
My daughter is in kindergarten and has only been reading for a few weeks. The Blue books are two of her favorites both Play with Blue and Go to Bed, Blue. I love that it has simple words that are either beginner sight words or words that she can sound out. I have bought her several of the Penguin Young Readers, Level 1 and have been happy with all of them.

My son loves Blue
Very good book to introduce your child to reading. Sweet story.Plus, my son likes the characters, especially Blue. We wish more Blue's stories would be available.
