I searched and read loads of reviews before buying this product. I don't usually write reviews, but this one is definitely worth doing it. We love fresh juices and this is a brilliant way to use those spare fruits and vegetables. We eat a lot of veggies, greens and fruit at home, but only if I clean and cut them. The juicer is an easy way for my husband and little boy to get all sorts of vitamins in one go.Why to buy it:Strong powerful juicer. You can juice the whole fruit or vegetable and it takes the most out of it!Robust and steady (it's got a lock and it's mess free)Makes wonderful juices in seconds (there are 2 speeds so even the hard centre of a pineapple gets juiced in 3 seconds)Relatively easy to clean (all the pieces come out in one go)Not as noisy as people say (much better than another cheaper brand one of our friends have)Dishwasher safeAdvice:If you love juice or intend to do the juice diet, go for it. Worth every penny.You have to clean it right after usage to avoid the pulp getting stuck to it. We don't wait to wash the parts in the dishwasher, we just rinse and clean all the parts as soon as we finish enjoying our juices.It's can be bulky. We have a big kitchen so we have space for it, but in a small kitchen it will take a lot of space.Buy the book of juice recipes especially if you don't know what to mix. You'll be surprised how many items you can juice together and the result is delicious.Use a green bag in the pulp storage, it will be one less thing to clean. You can throw the pulp away or use it as compost for your garden.

Original review: Having poured over reviews for centrifugal juicers, I finally chose this one. The juicer arrived already assembled. On first use, the juice burst out from under the lid and went all over the worktop. I thought this might be because I'd lined the pulp collector with a plastic bag (as recommended in the instructions). I tried a second time without the bag. Same result. On closer inspection, the lid has a small crack on the lip which is where the juice is escaping from. Now to test their customer service for a replacement lid..... In the meantime, the pulp was much wetter than I expected, certainly after only two uses with a pristine filter. It is also a much lighter weight than it looks and it all feels rather flimsy. Can't say I'm blown away by it. I've given it 3 only because I'm optimistically hoping I will get good customer service and that a new lid will rectify the other issues....A few months later: Customer service exceeded expectations, sent me a replacement lid immediately with no quibble, and the juicer works perfectly. I've been using it at least once a day, often two or three times, in the last few months and I'm thrilled with it. Nice, wide feeder, easy to use and clean.

when we selected this juicer we were happy with it at first and felt that we had picked a high quality one. thinking although expensive you pay for what you get. we followed the instructions and washed after each use. after only 3 days with about 7 uses, the juicer began smoking. the plastic had begun melting and a distinct burning smell was produced. We have now exchanged our juicer. hopeffully we recieved a faulty one first and our replaced one does not dio the same. we are disgusted that the product broke so quickly. especially when you pay over 130 for it!!!

I bought this product after much research and i am very pleased with it. Found it easy to use, pulp initially very dry and very pleased with it's overall quality. The one down side I found after approx 6wks of using it 2-3 times a day was cleaning the filter basket to a standard which meant the pulp remained dry resulting in as much juice being produced as possible. The product comes with a cleaning brush & explanation on how to clean basket however despite following this & using the brush - over time holes in filter basket became blocked resulting in very wet pulp & little juice. I contacted customer services who directed me to utube videos on cleaning the basket & was told a replacement basket would cost £25.I do continue to recommend this product but my advice would be to look at utube clips in the beginning, technique shown in using brush may prevent holes blocking up - in my case we did find brush supplied ineffective - amazingly in a local discount store we found a small battery powered brush, this works brilliantly, holes are now unblocked and back to getting dry pulp again. Would happily have given 5 stars had i not had problem with cleaning filter basket.

I did quite a bit of research before buying this juicer, and I am so glad I did, as I felt well educated in my decision. This is a masticating - or slow juicer - which allows you to juice and store your juice (if properly stored) for up to 3 days. The machine is very easy to use, easy to clean and comes with a wonderful cleaning brush for the juicing basket. I use the green bio-bag in the pulp catch jug, and makes cleanup amazingly simple. I would suggest reading juicer recipes for different juicers by speedy publishing. The authors do write a lot about their favourite juicer (Omega) but all of that aside they have a lot of great advice like - don't follow a recipe to the tee. They suggest you figure out what flavours you like and what health benefits of various plants...But that's a different review). For this juicer, once it finally dies, I will likely replace it with the same- or similar. The price is mid-range, and is well built. Really highly suggested for a first juicer (or 10th) :)
