I kind of feel I've been a bit generous AND a bit mean.
There are some drawings of clothing with folds in, some discussion of different ways things can fold, some discussion of how different fabrics fold differently. There is the redundant advice that when drawing fabric from life you should look at what you are drawing. And some history of art.There are also a number of pages that are rather generic, I strongly suspect they might reappear in the author's other books. And then about twenty pages of largely uncommented drawings; very nicely executed, but not much use for learning from. The author has the skills I would like to learn, but doesn't really pass them on to the reader with any significant success.
