I have been happy with this kit so far and it has been good fun making my first brew. The bucket is decent quality, just the right size to make a batch big enough for the large stockpot in my kitchen. I like that it is all grain, and the hops look and smell like good quality ones. The instructions have proved really clear. I have mashed, sparged, etc and for the last few days my fermentation bucket fermentation lock has been bubbling away. My experience of using the kit has made me realise that logistically I am better sticking to 5L batches rather than the 25L I was thinking of scaling up to, based on my stock pot size. The bucket has not leaked and the bottling tube will prove very handy. Alot of the plasticware is reusable so will be able to buy kits without the bucket next, though I have some glass carboys anyway. A great kit and I will update in a few weeks once tasted! Update - bottling waa easy with the bottling wand. Following a period of carbonation in the bottle, the beer has csrbonated nicely and tastes good. I suspect my yeast got cold in the night and strength is not 5.6% however, I have bought a heat pad for my next batch. I forgot to measure the original gravity so could not estimate alcohol content. Tastes very nice!

Box came with everything you need plus easy to follow instructions. First time making my own beer so it’s been a learning curve. Definitely value for money and can’t wait for the beer.

Was great stepping into the word of home brewing, will buying again from the seller. Only down side was I was unable to get the full five litres, there was quite a lot of sediment but otherwise great!

Great product, most of the key things you’ll need are included. You just need a large cook pot/ kettle and some bottles and you’re sorted. The instructions are great and I only needed to google a few points that weren’t mentioned. I think there is a YouTube video which may have clarified. I’m still waiting for it to ferment but whether it works or not, it was a blast to give it a go! Highly recommend if you’ve got a spare few hours at the weekend.

I bought this bottle topped kit for my brother's birthday and he only had great things to say about it. He loved how simple it was to brew his beer at home and said the flavour was great! With more ingredient kits to buy, this will keep him happy for the next few years to come!

Excellent bit of kit! Bought as a gift for someone and it was well received! Making the brew takes a bit of effort as the ingredients this kit came with requires orange zest. The beer tasted really nice once it had finished fermenting. The kit is good quality as well. Looking forward to trying this again!
