Very Noisy and stopped working again, sent back.
Installed in CCTV DVR and worked fine for a few days even though it was noisy compared to Seagate HDs I have used.The main problem is that once it stops responding after making what appears a constant clicking noise, you lose all your data.Reformatted, tried again, same thing after a few days. In total 3 breakdowns from 06/09/2023 - 16/09/2023.Asked for returns and sent back.

Noisy and Slow... But very cheap!
As the other reviews mention its quite noisey. It took about 8hrs to transfer 1TB from my internal SSD to the hardrive which seems fine for the price. I am using it just to back up my video library so its fine just for storage, but I don't think it would be much use for pulling files into premiere pro or anything like that.

Brilliant
Arrived well packed in excellent condition. Easy to fit, already formatted. Performance is very good, not noisy at all, bought to use in a cctv dvr. Overall I'm very happy with it.

Another dead on arrival hard drive!
This would have been a good bargain...if it ever started up and configured itself. But this Sonnics 3.5'' internal hard drive is my second cheap internal hard drive that's arrived dead as a brick!My other dead drive was a Seagate model but they both arrived in nothing but the flimsy bubble wrap lined parcel envelope and I'm suspecting THAT is the problem here?At least I'm hoping it's damage in transit and not a deliberate case of foisting out old server farm drives as good condition or new?My advice is don't buy unless it's got proper packaging guaranteed because one decent knock or bump can destroy a hard drive.

Fantastic Hdd
The one I received is no noisier than similar HDDs. Great price, and it's perfect for use as my PC games storage drive. Not the fastest, but HDDs never have been.Update: It's actually quieter than my last HDD setup. I'd give an extra start if I could. Highly recommended.

Works ok, but noisy
I added this drive to my Synology NAS. It is noticeably noisier than the Western Digital drive in the same enclosure, only when seeking or under heavy load.It seems to be working ok, but perhaps not so good if you want a quiet life!

Die Festplatte kam gut verpackt an und ist ,super leise,,ich habe da lediglich mein Bildbearbeitungsprogramm drauf und wie gesagt ,ich höre nichts,ich hoffe es bleibt so und empfehle sie weiter.
