I was so disappointed with these that I felt obliged to write a review. Firstly, although the box says "20 strips" it is actually 10 and they count the sticky residue of the strips when you pull them away from their cover as second strip. If you imagine pulling a Velcro strip apart then Veet would sell that as being two strips. Now down to the important part - they don't work. I tried on several types of facial hair from peach fuzz to eyebrow edges, stray head hairs (there's always one that grows further down from the hairline) and even whiskers. It didn't remove any of them. What it did do is leave behind a nasty sticky residue that took quite a bit of scrubbing with a flannel to remove (I never usually scrub if possible). It also pulled at the skin which left it stinging and red. For something so sticky I was surprised when it didn't actually work. It was a bit like using electrician's tape on the face. I had lightly exfoliated this afternoon so my face was smooth and dead skin free, glowing nicely and without sensitivity. Now I feel like I've been badly sunburnt in the areas I used the strips. My face feels really hot too. I got these based on reviews and their suitability for sensitive skin. I would recommend that you look for other options if you don't want to take risks or look like you have bad rosacea afterwards.

Hi Girls, I highly recomment these for waxing your upper lips. They work really well and remove all the hairs. I much prefer this method of hair removal now then using cream like I used to. The only negative is they don't give you anywhere near enough oil pads to remove the excess wax afterwards. Say there is 20 wax strips - well they give you 5 oil pads!! Tip: When the oil pads run out, use baby oil (or whatever oil you have on hand) on a bit of tissue to remove the excess wax. Soap etc doesn't work - it has to be oil.

I have purchased this product many times from High Street stores but as they did not have in stock I bought through Amazon. The product arrived on time, outer Amazon packaging in tact and had no problems, but the inner box was flattened and open both ends. I carefully applied the first strip as per instructions and when I pulled off the wax strip I was left with a red and very sore upper lip, appearance is almost like a 'graze'. As I mentioned, I have used this same brand/product many times but never had this happen before, however the wax on the strips is much gloopier and thicker than usual. Not sure what the prob is.
