Just love this machine. I waited far too many years to justify buying something that should be considered essential as soon as you start sewing more than just a make-up bag. You will wonder what you did before you had one. Professional results and very simple to use. Don't be afraid of rethreading,it is simple and an essential part of learning how your new machine ticks.

Thought long and hard before purchasing a new overlocker to replace my ageing Elna 704 which I loved! This seemed to fit the bill and, as I have other Brother machines, I trust the brand. The machine is robust and stitches well. Easy to thread and the optional extension table is a great addition. My only complaint is the built in Sewing light which is small and not nearly bright enough. It’s okay during daylight Sewing but I have to put an extra light on to see what I am doing in the evenings.

I've never had an overlocker before and was daunted by threading it. The DVD explained it very clearly, I don't think I could have done it with just the book. I have only used it to neaten seems on cushion covers as yet, but they look so professional.

Almost never got it as delivery driver was taking it away, the matchine is lovely to use easy to thread after watching the DVD a couple of times

Avevo chiesto una piccola info e prontamente mi hanno risposto. Il prodotto proprio come me lo aspettavo e come descritto dal fornitore; è solido,con molte funzioni e facile da utilizzare per chi già ha posseduto una tagliacuci, altrimenti contiene un CD rom con tutorial.

Meine Frau hat euch zu ihrem Geburtstag endlich eine neue Overlock gewünscht. Gesagt, getan und das gute Stück hab es dann auch. Nun bin ich absoluter Laie und kann fachlich nicht viel dazu sagen, aber die anhaltende Begeisterung der Herrin des Hauses gibt brother bei diesem Gerät recht - es scheint Spaß zu machen, die genau richtigen Funktionen zu bieten und, saß wiederum kann ich beurteilen - die Verarbeitung ist tadellos. Da wackelt nix, da klappert nix und für mich das beste - sie läuft leiser und ruhiger als der günstigere Vorgänger, ebenfalls von brother. Also Männer - schenkt eurer Frau dieses schöne Teil - es haben alle was davon!

Offerte pour mon anniversaire... Superbe cadeau. 2 minutes pour l'enfiler... C'est tout bien expliqué et la pince aide à rattraper le fil. Il faut prendre le coup pour la vitesse car pour lancer le surjet il faut un peu de vitesse.. (pas comme une MAC Brother ou l'on peut faire du point par point des le démarrage) mais on s'y fait. Je suis adepte de la marque. Un peu bruyant et vibrant mais comme toute surjeteuse, au vu de la puissance c'est normal. Réglage de la tension de chaque fil sur 4 et on sort des coutures dignes de professionnels. C'est magique. Livraison avant la date prévue et emballage nikel. Foncez !!

Da ich mich nun des öfteren auch an Kleidungsstücke wage zum nähen, habe ich mir den Traum von einer Overlock erfüllt. Sie wurde echt schnell innerhalb der angegeben Zeit geliefert. Abfallbehälter, Blindstichfuss, schriftliche Anleitung und Ableitungs-Dvd undWerkzeug zur Wartung waren dabei. Leider vermisse ich ein kleines Fläschchen Nähmaschinen-Öl, das war bei meiner Nähmaschine damals dabei, vor allem weil ein Ölen vor dem ersten Gebrauch erfolgen sollte, sagt die Anleitung. Und es sind leider auch keine Fadenspulen, so genannte Konen, dabei. Bei dem Preis schade. Aber fürs erste probieren kann man auch normale Fadenrollen aufstecken, wenn man nix anderes zur Hand hat. Hatte immer großen Respekt vor dem einfädeln, aber mit der mitgelieferten DVD und der Anleitung klappte es sofort. Danach wollte ich unbedingt einen Rollsaum ausprobieren, der sich dann bei Jersey an Röcken und Kleidern so schön wellig rollt 🤩 das war schon schwieriger einzustellen, ein Faden raus, noch ein Teil rausnehmen und dreimal ist mir immer ein Faden abgerissen - Ursache war: falsch eingefädelt..... Nochmal richtig gefädelt, Stoff schön mitgerechnet beim Nähen und voilá..... Ein welliger Rollsaum! Bin erstmal glücklich!! Und muss die Maschine erstmal gut kennenlernen. Für blutige Näh-Anfänger vielleicht nicht ganz das richtige, aber das liegt wohl eher an der mangelnden Erfahrung im Nähen, mit der Overlock selbst hat das nichts zu tun. Eine Overlock ist halt eh nur eine Zusatznähmaschine zur normalen, die viele Arbeitsschritte erleichtern soll. Insgesamt 5 Sterne, der Langzeittest wird's zeigen....
