When used with an Apple USB-C to Lightning Cable, this charger adapter DOES Fast Charge Apple iPhone 8, 8+, and X. Therefore it is is USB Power Delivery (USB-PD) compliant. When using both this adapter and the Apple cable you get the double "ding" sound when plugging your device in - which is Apple's indication that Fast Charging is activated.The other thing I want to mention is that the adapter does not slip out of my 12V car (cigarette) charging port as many have stated it does. Maybe they fixed the design? I was sort of thinking I was going to have to put some tape around the adapter to get it to stay in. But alas it fits snug and doesn't slip out. YMMV.This is the cheapest option as of this date to fast charge your iPhone in your car. I'm quite happy with my purchase. I've attached a few pics.

It's worked well for being small, providing both kind of ports, and charging my phone.However, I'm only giving it 4/5 stars because it failed to charge my bike light which I was trying to charge on my way to a ride. It's a fenix light with a micro usb port, nothing horribly old. I pulled out my previous charger and it charged the light, so the issue is clearly with this charger, it was disappointing that this charger didn't work with everything.

Unfortunately, although it charges my iPhone X faster than a regular charger (I think), it does NOT fast charge. I have a fast charger for my wall outlet, and it beeps (or vibrates) 2X, confirming that it is fast charging. This car charger does not do that.I gave it 2 stars because that's the whole reason I bought this charger, was because it states PD fast charging capable, and that is not true.

Rapid charges my Pixel XL 2 and feels sturdy. I bought two more since the price was right and it did exactly what I wanted.

Does not match the item pictured. Came with instructions for a different item. Specs listed on side of product also do not appear correct. Still need to test performance.

Purchased 3/2: Charges my Pixel 2 quickly...faster than Waze uses the juice...5/23 Update: The spring behind one of the contacts failed so the non-USB-C side gets no power. I will buy another one though because this thing charges super fast. I'll upgrade to 5 stars if the new lasts longer...

Wiggled around in my German car and wouldn't stay connected. Other brands work fine.

Purchased two of these to quick charge and iPhone X using an OEM Apple USB-C to Lightning cable. The iPhone X will not enter quick charge mode (Double Ding) with either of them. Despite reviews that say otherwise these are NOT PD compliant.
