Large Remote Control Car RC - Big Wheel Monster Truck - 2.4 GHz 9.6V - Black & Red

This car is amazing. It’s made by Xinlehong in China and there are quite a lot of videos and reviews about it on the internet.So far I haven’t managed to break it and I’m a terrible driver. It’s smashed into loads of stuff and just keeps going. But if you do actually manage to break a part you can just order that part and bits for it are cheap as chips.I got one for my eldest son for his 8th birthday in January and I was so much fun I got another for me and my younger 6 year old to share. (He’s not very good at sharing it so I will sadly have to buy one for myself.... shame).There are a couple of different bodies you can get. This one is the cheaper pickup truck which although being quite flimsy is very light and flexible when you crash. The other one I got is the slightly more expensive sand buggy one by Hosim. That has a thicker body which hinges up from the front. I prefer the sand buggy as you only have to undo 2 clips to open it in order to switch it on and off and change the battery. This one has 4. Run time is about 15 minutes so I bought 2 extra batteries for each car. Yeah they’re not cheap but they’re re-chargeable and with 3 for each car that’s a good 45 minutes of constant fun. After that my boys have lost concentration and want a drink and some cake.There is also a 4 wheel drive one which is what I’ll be buying for myself.These cars have so much power that you really do need to learn a few skills to drive them. Especially on grit. If you can control this like a pro straight out of the box you should change your name to stig.Get one. Have fun.

The car did not operate properly, despite several attempts a charging and recharging the unit battery and or the motor did not appear strong enough to drive the care adequately. All connections were checked and rechecked but this made no difference to the poor operation of the car. The remote control unit also only appeared to control the car from a very short range - not really a "remote control". Resorted to Amazon return policy in association with the supplier to return item for a full refund. I'm afraid this was not a very good experience for a birthday present for a 9 year old's birthday present.

Very well built and sturdy. We were surprised at the size too! BIG. My grandson is going to love this on his 7th birthday next week!! All remote controlled and rechargeable batteries included. Assembled using screws, not cheap tin rivets so built to take tumbles and will surely last.

Good size. But one broke really easily on the front suspension wish bone. To get parts is almost as much to buy another one as shipping is costly. Full charge only gives 10 mins of play time and that is dependent on gradient and surface you are on.

Super quick but now had to return twice. Suspension is really fragile.

Son loves this monster truck so much!
