Did the job!
Yes - seems to tick boxes as coloured filters used in pond weed photosynthesis experiments goes. Managed to cut 5 pieces per sheet to fit round boiling tubes. So would give about 60 pieces per colour. Not easy to cut as it was thinner than expected but did work. Good value for money if you need a lot and the colour range was perfect for my purpose. But may be disposable afterwards if immersed in water as it crinkles up. Have to handle it carefully - not terribly strong.
