Salewa Mens Wildfire 2 M

I don’t say this lightly: the Salewa Wildfire 2s are the best shoes I’ve ever worn. Full stop. I’m missing two discs at L4–L5, yet I’m still an avid outdoorsman and an Appalachian Trail thru-hiker. My standards are ruthless. Most shoes feel good for a minute, then punish you later. These don’t. The health benefits alone put them in a different league. The ability to swap footbeds and fine-tune the feel is an absolute game-changer—and my back felt the relief almost immediately. That’s not marketing fluff. That’s real-world, end-of-day, “wow I can still move” relief. From a performance standpoint, they’re dialed. Durable, grippy, confidence-inspiring. The toe protection is clutch when you’re scrambling, kicking steps, or misjudging a rock (we’ve all been there). They handle abuse like a champ. Style-wise? Shockingly good. They look sharp enough for town, but they’re pure mountain-bred muscle underneath. The fact that they’re made in Bolzano, Italy—right in the Dolomites—shows. Craftsmanship, intention, pride. If you ever get the chance to visit the Salewa store there, do it. The staff stands behind the product like it’s family, and the vibe is welcoming, knowledgeable, and legit. Customer service deserves its own shoutout. If something’s off, they move fast and make it right. No hoops, no nonsense. That’s how it should be. Bottom line: these shoes didn’t just improve my hikes—they improved my quality of life. My Merrill’s are officially riding the bench, and my back is very grateful. Great next generation shoe, runs a bit narrower than previous versions

I initially made a mistake and I didn’t realize that these were men’s shoes but it fit my feet really well. My hiking group thought they were very cool and a few lab to get a pair for themselves. The only problem was that the shoelace tip was a bit frayed on delivery.

Salewa, what an outstanding brand! My first purchase was for what appeared to be foolishly overpriced semi-mountain-climbing boots with steel braded cables running around the sides. I had torn up several pairs of high end special-ops combat boots walking on sharp large rocks at my job-site overseas, so decided to go "insane" for an upgrade attempt. Normal combat boots would last me about 3 months before the rubber was floppy in various areas on my boots. Possible 6 months max service life. But the Salewa boot....OMG, a year into walking on the teeth of demons, the boots were still strong and fully serviceable! I purchased a 2nd pair, a little less "mountain-extreme", and I noticed my foot stuck to the floor in a totally balanced and pleasurable way. I've never felt that from any other shoe or boot. And they still held up amazing on those soul-crushing rocks. I've recently purchased the Wildfire2 Approach shoe, just looking for a strong trail hiking shoe....and Salewa sure didn't disappoint AGAIN! Putting them on, then standing....you actually want to get walking, (instead of wanting to get sleeping if putting on New Balance...just saying). True joy with this product, true joy! Insanely comfortable and quite unique fit. They do seem to run 1/2 a size small so go bigger than normal.

The shoes arrived here 2 sizes bigger than expected, I believe they sent me men size. Also they are cheap made, the rubber and fabric are very hard. The shape is jot for normal wide feet, more for very narrow feet. I had to send the shoes back and there was no option to return the shoes for free, I had to purchase a print label for $6. In total, waste of money. I would have maybe tried ordering smaller size but I didn’t want to pay again $6 if they do not fit.

I’ll say get them , it wasent enough reviews on these while I was looking for a good light weight out door shoe , i was on the fence with these .Since owning them for a few weeks I felt compelled to write something , for me it’s a good shoe . A bit uncomfortable the first few wears with the tight toe box but they losing quickly . Nice looking and durable grip fit makes them ideal for me , as I work in the desert and walk on rocks and uneven grounds .

This brand has always been a favorite. I’ve taken their shoe all over that world and wore them day in and day out. They hold up great! Use the size guide on their site and you will be doing yourself a favor. I had to drop a size per their guide and they fit perfectly.

Extremely light and true to size. The sole is substantial but gives good feedback. Nice bit of kit.

Qualitativ sehr hochwertige Schuhe. Haben sich schon auf den ersten Touren bewiesen. Super sind außerdem auch die zusätzlichen Einlagen für eine individuelle Passform.

Top Schuhe, sehr bequem und sehr guter Halt. Leider nicht ganz so wasserabweisend wie erhofft… aber damit kann ich leben
