Just the job for keeping my Fluvial Flex 123ltr and 57ltr aquarium clean and healthy! Easy to use, just swap the old for the new in seconds. NB I always run mine under a tap before using as there is a fair amount of chalk that clouds the water up if you don't. All in all, perfect product!

To be honest l have always bought & used these as recommended by Fluval, whether or not l need to replace as often as they say, l don’t know?What l do know is l have stuck to the “routine” for the 3yrs l have owned the tank & have no complaints (neither do the fish who are still swimming around) so it may work out a bit expensive but l have a nice clean tank with clear water & healthy fish!!!

Perfect media
Lifesavers!!Buy these for any filters. Placed these in a very cheap filter that had it’s supposed media in place and yet 5 weeks in to cycling I was still getting high ammonia levels. And 3 weeks with these in place and have finally achieved stable. 0ppm ammonia 0ppm nitrite 10ppm nitrate. Weekly water change of 15% is all good.

The little mesh bag is very useful, original Fluval product.
Smaller box and bag than I expected, but it is the original supplied Biomax that came with the tank.The little mesh bag is very useful, I re-fill mine from a bigger Fluval size and simply cable clip the bag back together, you get about 3-4 years from the bag and is a more affordable way to do it.Note wash these out in some tank used water first, let them soak a bit too - lots of chalky dust comes out which would block the filters prematurely.However they work like a dream.I am sure the fish are grateful.
