Way too overpriced for what it actually is.As with most very small slow cookers, this overheats the contents so that it simmers the food, even on the low setting. Not really slow cooking. This happens even when the thing is filled to capacity.Claims that the heating element encircles the crock for even heating is true, but it is also true for all slow cookers, that's how they are all made.If there was better adjustment of the heat settings, for example 3 cook settings instead of 2, then this would be worth the higher cost.It does have an auto setting, but all this does, is heat at high power for a short time, then switches down to a very low keep warm setting, not high enough to cook, but ok to keep your food at serving temperature.This slow cooker does the job ok, but it is nothing special to justify the high price.

Being just the two of us, this small slow cooker is just what I wanted. It is the right size for us and so convenient to be able to go out and have a meal ready when you come home. Wish I had bought it years ago. I have bought the recipe book from Lakeland too and find it very useful. Saves money putting the full oven on and it is so easy to clean.

Bought as a gift and they were really pleased with it, it cooks well and doesn’t take up too much space. Ideal for one or a couple. Would recommend
