Conference Room Woes Solved
We have struggled to find a good solution for our large conference room (seats 45 people) for over 10 years. We have installed multiple complicated systems, some costing as much as $60,000, but none of the systems worked as intended. The main challenge we have experienced is callers on the other end being able to clearly hear the speaker in this conference room. The conference room is challenging because our building is right next to a highway, so there is a lot of background noise that most microphones can’t handle. These speakers work phenomenally, I have 3 linked speakers around the room and the caller can hear the speaker from anywhere in the room as clearly as if they were in the room. The AI noise reduction cuts all the highway noise out completely, and the fact that you can link multiple units together means that EVERYONE in the room can be heard, even if they’re not right next to the microphone. Having the microphone on the table means that our participants don’t need to talk toward the ceiling or anywhere non-natural. I can’t speak highly enough of this product. Thank you Anker for making such high quality products. We plan to use these in every conference room in our company.

Excellent device, among the best
This replaced my Jabra 750 which died in less than a year. I loved the audio quality on that and this is better. Pros: The microphone, speaker, and noise cancelling on this are among the best. Delivers semi-professional sound for a much lower price. Works well for recording voiceovers for professional training/demonstration content. Conference audio will only be limited by your peers’ devices and audio bandwidth constraints on conference service. Cons: Has no battery or Bluetooth so it must remain fixed. Accompanying desktop app offers minimal settings adjustment/configuration options.

Works great
I have a home office. It picks up good for meetings, regular phone calls. The noise canceling is great. I can play music in the room during meetings and no one can hear the music. Check the YouTube reviews also. Expensive, I have the S3 also, I should have bought my more of these regardless of price.

One Good, One Bad
We ordered two speakers which we planned to daisy chain together for a room that can have up to 20 people in a meeting. The first unit gave an error message on a couple of different computers "Unrecognized USB Device". We tried again a day later and it was recognized. We tested it and it seemed to work great. Then we tried it again about an hour later to demonstrate it to others, and got the "Unrecognized Device" error again. Tried on another computer with the same result. So, we are returning it. We tested the second unit and didn't get any error messages and it seems to work well. We are going to see if the single unit handles our conference room before reordering a second unit. It seems to be able to pick up sound from a good distance, but we don't know how it will be with a group of people in a meeting room setting and others on the conference call yet. Really disappointing that the Plug 'n Play for the first unit failed. Expected better from Anker.

Inexpensive, portable, shockingly good sound quality
My use case: I support small businesses with their technology needs. This device is perfect for those budget-conscious organizations. I have tested six inexpensive conference room systems and ten stand-alone speakers. All 3k and blow price range and this line of speakers has had the most positive reaching from my clients. Speaker sound quality: Ensuring you size the Anker conference device appropriately. The sound quality is superb. These devices can easily fill the room with sound without maximizing the volume. During my testing, I maxed the volume to check the sound quality. I did not notice any clipping or distortion. When I tested in a 24-person conference room. I did not see the need to install the second device for sound quality. Mic check: The mic quality is on par when compared to other conference systems. The microphone can pick up the speaker while filtering out the background noise. This is true for both the small, medium, and large units. Anker's product line is far superior to stand-alone conference speaker/mic devices. In larger rooms using the daisy chain design helps improve sound quality, which is a functionality unique to these types of devices. Again, my clients have raved about the great sound quality of these devices.

Not for me
I purchased this for use at my hospice office for our virtual meetings so every could hear the staff that are calling in for the meeting. After multiple attempts to get this product to work at our office , I gave up and returned the product. The instructions were not the best and we could not get the product to connect to our phones. I would not recommend.

No Bluetooth as offered in the Amazon spec’s
The specifications refer to a Bluetooth coverage that it doesn’t support. I am missing the portability of Bluetooth connectivity. Will be returned…

It works in a long conference room with noisy AC
After trying and failing with three Poly Trio 8800 phones working in daisy chain, I tried three of these for a conference room. They worked better than the phones. the sound I may get a fourth one because the audio is just a bit lower than the phones, but the microphones are really good canceling the noisy AC in the room. I would recommend it if you have the money. The room is quite large, and I'm impressed how well it's been working.

these have great voice pick-up and a loud speaker to hear the other side. FYI you can daisy-chain these with ethernet cables and power the first one with POE but you still need a USB cable going to the first one for the computer connection. Compares favourably to Poly Trio for sound quality.

Works great as speaker and microphone for the conference room. Microphone quality is amazing compared to Bluetooth options

Struggled with large meetings for years. With a 20 person room we were able to get good coverage with two units. It still sounds like talking on a speaker phone in a large room but voices at every location were able to be picked up without difficulty by remote users in Zoom. Would recommend.

Great speaker. Really good mics. Buttons sync with cascaded/daisy chained units. However, it doesn't work with MS Teams. The mute button will mute the mic and mute MS Teams. When you un-mute on the device, only the mic un-mutes but MS Teams stays muted. This behaviour is so much worse than if the buttons just didn't work with MS Teams at all. Anker tech support was unhelpful and had no interest in passing on the info to developers who can fix this via firmware. All they could do was tell you the usual trouble shooting steps and kept trying to warranty replace the speakers. These will be getting returned.
