This is a great, heavy duty rake. It was exactly what I was looking for and the quality surpassed my expectations! It's been pouring so i haven't had the chance to use it yet, but i have no doubts it will function beautifully! The size is perfect, the handle is of good quality that won't bend and doesn't feel cheap! This was money well spent and it took under 5 minutes to fully assemble. I am very happy with rake and would highly recommend it to anyone in need! I can't as of now, think of any cons with this rake. If there happens to be something that comes up, I'll edit my review otherwise, this is a great purchase!

It nice sturdy and it well for what i need it for . Worth the money.

I wanted a solid wood/fiberglass handled yard rake for smoothing out an area we had trees removed from (including stump grinding). Unfortunately, the size of the handle makes such an online purchase more expensive. Thus the solution of a 3 piece handle. I read some reviews where there were issues with the strength of the handle or loosening at the threaded joints. In other words, I ordered this knowing what I was probably getting. What I got was actually better. The rake head is heavy duty. Seriously. It will tear up the ground. The reverse side is equally effective for spreading the dirt back evenly. As to the loosening at the joints, I firmly tighten them (no tools, just hand tight). I did occasionally have to tighten the lowest joint, but it was a minimal issue. The handle is light. I wouldn’t use it to torque anything left/right or up/down, but pulling backwards or even pushing straight forwards, I had zero issues or concerns. I highly recommend this as an online purchase option. I still prefer the rigidity of a solid handle, but for the price, I would buy this again. I also like the fact that I can break it down for storage. Pretty cool.

Sturdy, and solid material

Love this rake. Its light snd easy to work with. Unfortunately, handle screws easily become loose and fall out, handle could be secured better. I've replaced screws twice

I give this product 3 stars because it is not built to last a lifetime, only a few years. Brand new, this rake would be 5 stars, after all, it doesn’t take a rocket engineer to build a rake. It works, it’s fine. The problem is that it was built to be able to be packaged and shipped in the most efficient manner, since that’s a huge cost savings, so the pole is cut into 3 sections with plastic couplers and two screws to connect to the rake so there is no doubt that in a few years, the plastic will crack and will require a new pole. I have other garden tools that were handed down to me that are older than me and still work. This rake, nah, not that kind of tool.

It's totally not! All the pieces screw together and they're strong, the rake head is really sturdy and well made, and it was put to work raking stone dust and gravel a LOT in our driveway and patio project, without a complaint ( well not one that we could hear anyways ... ) What a pleasant surprise
