Expensive. But works tremendously when used according to the instructions on their website.
I use this every time I clean my elderly mother's pressure sores and other problem areas. You have to go to their website to know how to properly use this product, however. My mother's wound care nurse was not aware that you are to soak the wound for 5 minutes with this product to clean and flush out a wound. I use a gauze pad, 12-ply version, soaked in the Vashe fluid. I cover the wound for 5 minutes and then remove. You can see the difference. On other less severe sores, I can just soak the pads and hold on the sores for several moments. They also show the benefit of this product.Do not leave on for more than 5 minutes.There seems to be no stinging or pain caused with this product, but I am careful not to leave on more than the 5 minutes stated on their website.The problem with this product is that it is expensive and you can go through it rather quickly. The results are worth the expense.

Used by my doctors for wound care.
Very effective for cleaning wounds and covering wounds when slightly dampening a square of gauze (if required) before the final wrapping is done. It's used by my wound care doctors and highly recommended. I purchased the 16 oz. bottle, rather than the 8 oz. which in the past would go a long way if used sparingly, so the 16 oz. will last a long time.

Use this if you have a chronic wound.
I have been under the care for severe and persistent wounds since 2014. There was a dramatic improvement starting a year ago when the wound clinic switched to this product to cleanse my wounds. We then switched to he product for the home care. They are almost completely healed. I had all but given up on them ever healing. Awesome product!!!!!

Bought for child w eczema and allergies. Wound up using on baby acne and cradle cap of newborn and it worked wonders!!Love this!

Efficient product BUT.......
It works just fine. We had to go back to Dakins! The price on this was a bit much. $50/16 ounces!! That makes it $400/gallon. Doesn’t make sense for mom to run through her retirement savings on this when Dakins does the trick.

Great wound cleanser
Absolutely THE best wound cleanser on the market! It smells like a weak peroxide, but does NOT bubble and burn. It just does what it's meant to do.
