Bristol Novelty AC591 Hippy Man Costume, Medium

Fantastic outfit for a very good price. It looked brilliant and delivery was quick. Definitely recommend. The outfit could fit both a skinny and chubby person as the trousers are elasticated. A MUST at a fancy dress.

When the package arrived it said "one size fits many" and this is undoubtedly true - to an extent. The trousers were a good fit for me - I'm 6ft tall with a 32" waist. Whilst the elasticated waist will certainly stretch to accommodate a larger figure, the legs might be a more cosy fit. The top however is huge, measuring 27.5" from armpit to armpit when laid flat (so, a 55" chest) and reaching half-way down my thighs without the belt. Fortunately my wife is a good seamstress, so with some minor modifications (including chopping 6" off the length), the outfit looked fine with the addition of a long wig and round glasses. The garments are all made from a thin shiny polyester-like material, but this is to be expected given that this costume is probably one of the cheapest available. A couple of additional things to point out: the "waistcoat" is sewn on and is only on the front of the garment - the back of the shirt is plain white. Secondly, there were two other men wearing the same outfit at the 60s party that I wore this to, but this was no surprise given its price. Altogether, good value for a bit of fun.

Awesome outfit . Just for a night

This outfit, coupled with a long hippy wig, moustache, and John Lennon glasses, made me completely unrecognisable to my closest friends at a recent fancy dress party. As previously commented on, the outfit is slightly on the large side, but it fitted my average frame well enough and definitely did the trick. Well worth the money.

This went down well at a party. Quality was better than expected, the material was actually half decent and it didn't feel like I was about to spontaneously catch fire at any point

OK for the price and looks good. The fabric is a bit thin, so I wore t-shirt and jeans underneath. Also to note, the picture shows a guy wearing a peace medallion but this is not part of the costume supplied.

Vale for money. Not the greatest quality but for something you are going to wear for a few hours it does not matter. I am a size 12-14 female. Trousers fitted well. Had to shorten the legs. Shirt is huge but with the belt did not look too bad. All in all a great fancy dress outfit. We did the Paul almond champagne murders game and I wore this outfit for my role of Terence shrimp.

Sizes not true so buy size smaller

C'est vrai que ça taille large, mais pour un hippie c'est pas dérangeant. Déguisement qui fait son effet.

Bellissimo, adatto a tutte le taglie. Il materiale del costume è viscosa, utilizzabile sia in inverno che in estate. Molto consigliato!

Cumple la función por el precio que pagas. Es ancho.

Fait tellement bien le job que dans la même soirée nous étions plusieurs avec le même déguisement 😂

Super Hippie Kostüm. Für Diese paar Euro toll! Schade nur das das Oberteil sehr groß ist aber wenn mann den Gürtel der dabei ist nimmt dann geht das schon.
