Joules Women's Welly Print Rain Boot

Purchased several years ago for my wife and they are holding up very well. They are comfortable and waterproof. Very nice design. Equal quality as any name brand rain boot.

So far, so good. I've worn them through the post-snow mud, as well as in damp/rainy conditions with no leaks. Time will tell.They appear to be well constructed and are cute (I got the black with gray flowers). I would feel at ease wearing them in public, as well as around our property. While they aren't so comfortable that I'd want to wear them walking around all day, they are sufficiently comfortable for short periods of wear. Furthermore, a person with an average foot width could easily insert some sort of orthotic or foot liner for added comfort. I have a somewhat wider toe box (but average heels) and found the width to be somewhat narrow. Not unbearably so- just narrow enough that I probably couldn't wear a thick sock for an extended period of time period.Also, as others noted, these run at least a full size large. I typically wear between a 5.5- 6 and ordered these in a five. They fit just fine for my purposes, but to be honest I probably could have ordered a 4.5 if offered. At the start of the review where it asks you to rate the size, I selected 'too large.' Had I ordered a 6 like I was going to, they would have been too large for sure. Glad I heeded the advice offered by other reviewers.

Best rain boots EVER! I have been shopping for Wellies for (I kid you not) 6 years now. Sometimes I buy a pair or two and send them back. Almost without exception, the problem is that they're just too smug around the calves. Can barely fit my legs, much less pants. I am 5'9", 137 lbs (give or take) and have average-to-thin-side calves. These boots are perfect! Lots of room, but not gaping to the point of looking silly. Nice lines, great pattern (I bought True Pink). Super comfortable in the 10 seconds I had them on before rushing to write my first-ever Amazon review (I think). :-) I don't even CARE if they fall apart in 6 months. (Not that I think they will, but seriously, if you have read as many reviews of rain boots as I have over the past 6 years, you will know that every single style has at lease 15 people complaining that their boots started to split after just 2 wearings, etc. I was really impressed actually that the worst reviews I read about these boots was that they were "way too big." Well, OK. So order a size down! I typically wear a size 9.5 wide, if I can find it. I ordered the 9B, and they're roomy but perfect. Lots of room for a thick sock if I want, but wouldn't need one to make them fit. Easy to get on and off, too! So, so, SO pleased with this purchase!!

I have yet to wear these in the rain so this is strictly an out of the box first impression of the Grey KiKi Spot patterned boot. Do they run large? That does seems to be the case. I wear a 9.5 and there is room even with thick fuzzy socks, but not so much room that it’s worth exchanging. An 8.5 would have been perfect if that size existed. Are the ankles big/roomie? Yes, but not any bigger than your average rain boot. It’s not supposed to fit like a riding boot. It fits like a sleek looking woman’s rain boot. I had zero issues with the calves being too tight. My calves are 14 inches in circumference. There is about 1.5 inches in extra room from my shin to the front of the boot opening. I would have liked less extra room but again, this is a rain boot and not a fitted riding boot/I have thin legs. I was looking for a cute woman’s rainboot that didn’t make me look like a 5 year old wearing my dad’s boots and I got what I wanted. Would purchase another pair in a different pattern if my finances allowed! First thoughts as I pulled them out of the box? Sturdy, feminine, great quality, fun, expensive look for less.

I love these beautiful Welles. They are lovely and came in the prettiest box, with super fast delivery. The fit on these is tricky. They run somewhat floppy, but the length for me is good. I usually wear an 8, and I bought an 8 and it fit well in the length, but the whole inside of the shoe is big and there's no arch support. So I did what another reviewer suggested and bought the real 12 dollar Ugg sheepskin liners in a size 8. With the addition of the thick sheepskin liners, these are so dang comfy, like walking on pillows. But there is still no arch support, so I can only wear them for a couple / few hours. That being said, they are SO Freakinng cute! I got the Navy Blue with Songbirds and I love them ever so truly. I'll wear these for El Nino rainstorms, and for working in the kitchen and garden, no need to worry about messing them up cause you can hose them off.I also bought the short version with the bee print and am going to buy some liners for those too.

I have the black bumble bee wellies and I love them. Good purchase! They do run large. I usually wear a size 6-6.5, so I ordered both a 6 and a 5. The 6's were too big, but the 5's were too small. I wound up keeping the 6's and added a shearling insole (ugg knock-off brand) over the existing insole. The soft insoles improved the overall comfort, warmth, and made them fit well with medium-thickness socks. My boots keep my feet nice and dry on rainy days. After a full day of wear, I am glad to take them off, but they are very cute and I've gotten many complements on them. I have average sized calves (14") and these are plenty roomy - easy to wear over jeans as well as tights.

I live in the Seattle area, and rain is never-ending. I've been buying fashionable rain boots lately to try to feel better about the depressing weather. Anyway, these are great! They are comfortable, they are very well made, and the heel on these feels well built and is thick. I will agree with other reviewers that these are very tall. I am 5'8, and wear a 36" pant length, and these come up to about 1" under my knee. I went with the "Lime" boots, and they look exactly as the picture. These boots could fit any size leg because I have average size legs and there is still room in these, and I was able to pull them all the way up easily. Overall I'm really pleased with these and will buy this brand again!
