Well illustrated & very informative.
An excellent book! At A5 size it is not quite the perfect coffee-table edition it would have been were it A4 size & it misses out his little known works influenced by the Chinese works he studied for a while. Yet if you are interested in Van Gogh's work it is very informative & well illustrated.

Good reference book...
I love this handy little book. I'm doing art and drawing lessons at the moment and really enjoying it. we're looking at different ways of mark making and styles of drawing and painting, etc... It's good to study different artists and I'm using this for reference, especially for oil painting and drawing:(

I don’t think all of his paintings are in the book but it is lovely to have majority of them in the same place. There is also a small spelling mistake but apart from that it’s perfect

very comprehensive coverage in colour of all Van Gogh paintings
This is an excellent overview of van Gogh's paintings from his entire career as a painter-almost all of his paintings are shown in this volume, which is very unusual in itself, and very valuable for anyone who wants to see how his painting actually developed over time. My only quibble is that this is a reduced-size edition of the original publication which, obviously, very much reduces the size of the reproductions. That said, the quality of reproduction is excellent-the colours match the paintings extremely well.

Great Book for Van Gogh and art lovers!
The book arrived on time and in perfect condition. There are plenty of pictures and information about the amazing Van Gogh's famous paintings. I highly recommend for any art lovers and fans of Van Gogh!
