Descaler

Excellent product, does exactly what it is supposed to, there is a handy measuring scale on the side of the bottle so you use the right amount. I use it once a month on my glass kettle as we are troubled with limescale here in south east england and it works well keeping it clean.

For a small amount the descale is really strong.

Not great, not terrible. However, my choice would be vinegar becauae it isn’t that toxic and it’s much cheaper.

I live in a hardwater area being in London. I have gone through so many kettles over the years and never for once thought about using a descaler before. I had purchased this descaler with a brand new Russell Hobbs kettle. Upon arriving, I tried the descaler on my old kettle and was blown away - the heavy encrusted limescale deposits were indeed being broken down in the quoted 10 minute window. I then rinsed the kettle out and did one more final application, leaving the liquid in there for 2hrs - the kettle was almost as good as new - minus the broken mesh filter that couldn't be reused thanks to the limescale damaging it. I have since bought a second bottle because it isn't exactly expensive and could be useful on my coffee machine too.

Really easy to use, Add 4oms into the water reservoir and run on a cycle as if preparing coffee. Once complete, run through two cold fresh reservoirs of water to ensure no substance was left behind. This left the machine running at full operational speed, filling g really quickly and at high heat just like new. Much better than using vinegar as no adverse odour in the house or machine.

La mia macchinetta per caffè americano Russel Hobbs non erogava più acqua e ho acquistato questo prodotto sperando di poterla fare risorgere. Ha funzionato a meraviglia! Ha sciolto il calcare che ostruiva il passaggio dell'acqua e ora funziona come fosse nuova. Nel mio caso essendoci molto calcare ho preferito far andare due volte di seguito il mix acqua + prodotto e ha riupulito a dovere. Al primo giro consiglio di lasciar andare la macchinetta senza preoccuparsi se l'acqua non esce subito a fiotti perché deve aver modo di agire. Le istruzioni sulle quantità sono indicate sul retro (in inglese), dovete scollare l'etichetta come si vede nelle foto del prodotto. Non so esprimermi sul prezzo perché non ho mai comprato niente di simile e non so se ci sono altri prodotti a meno che funzionano uguale, posso solo dire che questo funziona subito e risolve il problema. P.s. Se usate spesso l'opzione di consegna presso un punto di ritiro con questo articolo non sarà possibile, ve lo consegnano solo a casa.

Que vois-je écris en petits caractères : "Provoque une sévère irritation des yeux... lire l'étiquette avant utilisation, contient de l'acide citrique" Alors déjà, pas question d'employer un produit aussi nocif, même en rinçant de nombreuses fois. "Lire l'étiquette", je veux bien mais laquelle ? Je n'ai rien trouvé. Du coup, je renvoie ce produit, j'ai utilisé du vinaigre blanc que j'ai fait bouillir dans une casserole puis versé dans la bouilloire, le résultat est impeccable.

Es muy fácil de usar y efectivo contra la cal de mi plancha de vapor. Quizás deja un poco de olor en el ambiente pero una vez finalizado el proceso la plancha ha quedado limpia de cal.

Veramente un prodotto eccellente, ho una Nescafè DolceGusto ed è bastato un solo passaggio per rimuovere efficacemente ogni residuo di calcare. Basta pochissimo prodotto diluito nell'acqua del serbatoio, quindi anche conveniente per qualità/prezzo. Unica "pecca" mancano le istruzioni sulla confezione, che ho dovuto cercare su Google (macchine da caffè: 50ml per ogni 500ml di acqua, ma io ne ho messo ancora meno ed ha funzionato perfettamente).
