No 5 GHz WiFi support.
Does not work on 5GHz WiFi networks, only on 2.4 GHz networks. If you have moved everything in your place to 5 GHz WiFi, you won't be able use this product.

Does not support 5 G/Doesn't work with Google Home
I had no problem pairing this to my wifi, but it is not recognized by Google Home or Amazon Alexa as was advertised. This may be because of the 5G incompatibility. I'm not going to run my home on the slower 2.5 bands to accommodate this wonky little plug. The interface is also clumsy to use. The schedule allows me to turn on the device, but has no way to schedule a turn off time. I really hate returning things, but this may go back if it doesn't work perfectly for the next week. Do yourself a favor, spend a few extra bucks and get something that doesn't seem like it came from the dollar store.

Config is bad, directions are bad, design is bad, if you get it configured it might work for awhile. AVOID.
Miserable configuration. Eventually succeeded. Couple months later it loses its mind and can't be reconfigured. The instructions suck and were obviously written by someone with low English skills. I'm an engineer and I configured it the first time but this time. Nada. Ain't happening. Total PITA. AVOID

Save your money
Out of the box wouldn’t work. Tried pairing and would not connect. I’ve had tons of electronics and never had issues pairing but these were awful and the directions were even worse.

Difficult setup
Very cute looking product but extremely poor instruction package. The instructions refer to a signal light on product with an image referring to a different area. The light is actually the same as the power button on my model. Regular set up didn’t work. I honestly just kept clicking around on the app until I saw options that sounded like things in the instructions description. For a tech savvy person. This still took about 30 minutes for one set up.Pros- cute product, compact, nicely priced, can connect to Alexa, nice timer and schedule featuresCons- difficult set up (need better instructions), simple smooth look compromised on button- the amount of time you hold will get you varying responses. You need to download a separate app from Alexa to use. Once set up- you are unable to manually utilize that light source from the regular switch or lamp anymore. Must turn on and off in app, by Alexa voice control or by bending down to push Device button.—I would advocate for figuring a way to work it out so you can still use the wall switch to control outlet.

Highly Disappointed. Only one works.
I set up my smart plugs today and am highly disapointed because only one of them works. I am giving it two stars because 1 of the 2 smart plugs works perfectly. However the second does not work at all. The power light turns on when it is supposed to be on, but will not power up anything. Alexa can turn it on and off yet it does nothing. I will not be returning because I am satisfied with the one that works. However I do feel like I wasted my money for only one smart plug to work.

Work great!
I have a number of different products similar to these. These were a bit more challenging to set up than the WeMo but they are a good bit cheaper too so worth it. For whatever reason I had to follow the manual setup process to get them to connect but that was less than 2min vs. 15s so no biggie. I will definitely buy more whereas w/ the WeMo likely will not until the price drops.Work well w/ Alexa!

Works well, just a bit too large for two in one 2-plug outlet
I was disappointed that I couldn't put a pair of these side by side in my wall outlet. Unless you have a normal plug in the other outlet, you won't be able to use the second outlet. I had to use an extension cord (the plug fit very tightly but workable) next to this Smart Plug.I just have to be patient that the technology will get smaller to allow a smaller unit. But for now, it was disappointing. That cost 1 startThe other start was lost on the directions not being clear to add all device BEFORE you connect to Echo for ease of naming, grouping, etc.The setup was fine. I setup 3 of these with my Echo. The steps to remember are:1. Load app onto phone2. Plug in one and give it a name after activating.3. Setup the next two (or how ever many you have) BEFORE YOU CONNECT TO ECHO (ALEXA). If you connect the first one to Echo, subsequent ones will connect directly to Echo before you have a chance to name it or assign to a group. Not a show stopper but kind of annoying.Overall, it's fun to be able to voice-activate my lamps (what I'm using this for now) in one room.
