1997 Chevy Silverado 5.7L
Just installed these spark plugs today. AC Delco makes great replacement parts for my 1997 Chevy Silverado K1500 that always fit, last, and perform. These particular spark plugs are “pre gapped at 0.60” so they are correct and ready for installation right out of the box. My truck runs perfect again and the price for a pack of 4 plugs is VERY affordable.

Genuine AC Delco part
Genuine OEM spark plug. The 8 that I installed had the gap already set to 0.060 which is what the vortec 5.7 gap is. Might be the same for other motors. The price beats local parts stores at 12 dollars a plug. I would still double check the gap on them but they did not need adjusted.

Great spark plug but the price shouldn't be a rich man's plug.
I used these on my 1996 Chevy Van Conversion and I've got to say, I'm pretty happy with them, awfully expensive though, it's just one of those things where if money's tight you just have to make price & quality meet somewhere in the middle, but as for me, Spark plugs on my Van are super hard to change so I wanted the longest lasting plug I could find,

Always use recommended part number
41-993 is the upgrade part number that is recommended for the 2000 Chevrolet S10 V6 vortec engine I've been using just any AC Delco spark plugs just cuz they would work. Although I wasn't getting the power, the performance the best quality out of my vehicle. For that reason I firmly suggest to use the part number that your vehicle recommends for that specific part. Do not cross number it just cuz it will serve the purpose and it's cheaper. Your vehicle just won't perform and our best manner as you would expect for it too. And it would be your you to blame. I myself didn't realize that as when I decided to do that. There was a great positive difference and I'm glad I did and I recommend everyone to do the same. You would be oh so glad when you do

Not gaped properly
I'm a true believer in AC Delco products. These plugs are supposed to be better. We'll see. However, only 1 out of 8 plugs where gaped correctly. Supposed to be pre gaped to .060 when I checked .068 to .053.

Great replacement for standard plugs
Used 16 of these to tune up the 5.0 Mercruisers in our boat. Perfect fit of course, but also helped smooth the idle, starts up with far less cranking over, and boats typically run rich at idle, but there is noticeably less fumes as it warms up. Nice plugs at an excellent price. Would buy again for any small block chevy install!

Excellent Quality.
I bought 8 AC Delco Iridium spark plugs # 41-993. Gaped at 0.060" and packaged with a protective sleeve. Best of all they were manufactured in the U.S.A. and the price was lower than the imported brands.
