Great Compact, Budget Smart Charger
This $25 Smart Charger works well for the 3S batteries used in my AeroScout, and I also use it for the small 2S and 3S batteries for my UMX planes. Settings are automatic with Spectrum Smart arteries and easily set manually. It requires 5 volts from a cell phone charger (not included). A USB C cord is included. Adapters(not included) are required for use with the small 2S and 3S batteries. It's compact size takes little space in my flight kit and goes with me to the flying field.

It charges well
Not a lot of features showing you the fault with a bad battery. It does charge fast. Works great with a 100 W USB C power source.

I love it!!
The media could not be loaded. I have been into RC for my entire life that I can remember I built my first RC car when I was probably in the 3rd or 4th grade stayed up all night blah blah blah heaven said that since the inception of brushless motors and then later lipo batteries is very much welcomed I have gone through plenty throughout the time frame since both have been introduced and I can tell you I've been through quite a few chargers trying to find something that didn't take a rocket scientist to operate and I have bought the best of the best when it came to that and no matter how much money I spent it seemed to be way too complicated to do something so simple that back in the day just was a matter of plugging the battery in and adjusting the amperage so heaven said all that this spectrum line of smart batteries is a fresh breath of air to me off top they're are some problems with it I do know that there are I have had a couple of problems with it but Horizon is pretty good about fixing problems with you deal with them directly having said that this smart charger which is not strictly for smart batteries you can charge regular lipos on it as well as high voltage and the Fe you can charge them on there you simply plug it up and select your amperage and start your charge if you don't have a smart battery of course you got to plug in a balance lead that's expected but this is as simple as it gets.I cover the entire process as well as how you can tell which amperage you max out it with this charger which is a cool feature by itself check out the video.

Waste of money
Bought to use on a battery of the same brand, didn’t work out of the box like all of the other 1 star reviews said. Just spend a little more money and get a better one.

Fantastic charger!
I use this for charging batteries on my micro rc builds. They have always worked great! Easy to use and very user friendly. The only thing I don't love is how loud the beeping is, other than that it's great!

Needs a good 70-100W power source to work properly.
Charger is easy to use, but only if you have a sufficiently powerful power source (70-100W laptop charger) to back it up. Otherwise you get voltage faults and the inability to charge that are not the actual battery, but instead the power supply for the charger. Regular USB charger blocks don’t work here.

Great charger
Great little charger. I bought a 100w power supply for in the house and a 100w power supply for my car. Works great at the field. I have the s155 in the house now, but if I need to charge two I'll plug this in too. It's important to get the right power supply.
