I recently purchased the wireless linked smoke alarm system for my home, and I cannot express how pleased I am with this product. We found it a bit confusing at first as the instructions were saying to push buttons which we couldn't see. However, when we watched the video all became clear (the 'button's are actually invisible, under the plastic). It was easy to connect the alarms and to test them. We thought the adhesive rings were really good and easy to use, but a couple of weeks after installation, the heat sensor fell off the ceiling and broke and I had to buy a replacement. I would say don't trust the adhesive strips.

This kit contains: • A heat alarm for the kitchen • A carbon monoxide alarm • 3 smoke alarms (more can be added) All the devices have a claimed ten year battery life and the expiry date is printed on each device. I have additionally stuck an installation date sticker as well. As the system is pre-linked so installation is quick. You can use either wall plugs/screws into walls/ceilings or use supplied double sided pre-cut adhesive pads. The bit I like best is that the system can be tested by using a supplied remote control, avoids having to use stools or ladder to test each smoke/heat detector, something which used to put me off doing the tests. One of the reasons why I bought this system is because I live in a big old house where the kitchen is in an extension away from the bedrooms so if a normal kitchen smoke alarms was triggered then it would barely be heard in the bedroom area. Same goes for loft to lounge area scenario, not a problem anymore. Instructions are well written in a readable sized font and includes a QR code which guides you to a “pairing” demo video

We needed some new smoke alarms and while searching found some linked ones. I thought that's a good idea, so searched specifically for linked detectors. Then I came across this pack, I already knew the brand as I had brought their CO2 detectors, which are good to look at and quick to fit. Also we had a little problem which they fixed in a couple of days, so good service let's give more custom. So to the product its self, again good to look at, no external buttons ot lights, white to go with the ceiling. Easy to follow instructions, to pair and easy and quick to mount, it took longer to get my tools out and return to the garage. The only gripe about the fitting was , there's no mark to say where base meets the unit, not that I saw anyway. On the first one it didn't matter were the grille was facing. So on the rest, I marked the centre of the grille on the base, that way I knew the grille would be down when I drilled the holes. When I tested them I was surprised how low they sounded but then realised that if they were all as loud as my previous one going off at the same time, how deafening would that be. These are east to fit, set-up and use, to date can't fault them.

After less than 3 years one has developed a fault and goes off at 4am. I have removed it and wrapped in tin foil placing it in my garage 40M from the house. Maybe the remaining unit will last another wee while but I certainly don't think they will last the next 7 years as claimed. Having read other reviews I am in agreement that these are a waste of time and money. ZERO STAR...

We absolutely love these we procrastinated for awhile on which interconnected wireless set to get, but opted for these given the size and other reviews and they weren’t wrong. We bought an additional unit, so we could have one in each room and all allows a better mashing network. These are putting in place of an existing old wired fire alarm set up which had stopped working. Set up easy unboxing and putting the fixing plates to the ceiling. These can be fitted to the ceiling and all the walls I opted for the screwed option as I didn’t want to trust the free adhesive tape however, for the carbon monoxide unit a place on the wall with three tape and three months in and it’s still holding strong. I’ve no concerns over a wall mounted option. Set up was really easy and pairing to each device. You simply press and hold one of the devices for a number of seconds, which puts it in pairing mode and repeat the same process for each of the next fire alarm points. These then speak to each other and create a network so that should one of the items go off all get the alert and advise the house owners of any issues. I’m super chuffed of these, not only because they are extremely small as you can see from the first picture from the ring. I’m still still yet to paint the ceiling from the old fire alarm, so the discreet they do the job and the easily set up and cost will make this an absolute winner.

Got hold of this to protect the whole house. I guess that you don't want the fire to get to your room before you hear something, so the fact that all these are linked is good. I also like that these include both an infra-red and carbon monoxide detector too. Easy and neat to install. Discreet and seemingly good quality. Seemed to work OK for setitng off all alarms when test button used on just one. I should probably have another check with holding up a candle to it or something to see. Had for around 2.5 years, so expect them to hold up well.
